A week after having two tattoos done, and still letting them heal, I decided I was finally ready to get the tattoo I had been waiting years to finally get. My fiancé had drew up a beautiful butterfly and tribal that I wanted tattooed on my lower back. However, it really is quite different than the typical butterfly and tribal tattoos you see on many women.

Matthew, my fiancé and I took the drawing into Lambadi City Tattoo. We talked with Chris Hudson about the pricing and showed him the drawing Matthew had done. He asked me if I was sure I really wanted it to be that big, and I said, yes of course! So, I made an appointment for two days later that I would be tattooed.

Upon arriving at my appointment, Hudson, had worked with the tattoo Matthew had drawn just a tad bit, by making the tribal design more feminine than what it was on the drawing. Which, actually looked wonderful! So, after make sure I was okay with the modifications to the drawing he made, he had me sign the normal paper and copied my license. He began to set up his area, and then called me back in. At this point, I am glowing in excitement! As he applies the stencil, he tells me that I would not be able to get the tattoo totally completed that day because of how long it would take. So, I was a bit disappointed, but he was the professional, and I was not about to argue with him about this!

After he applied the stencil and had me go and check out the placement, I sat down in the chair, and was ready to get started. So, he did some final preparations and was ready as well. He began to do the outline of the tattoo first, which many people say is the most painful, but I just sat and smiled, and talked to Matthew as Hudson tattooed away. Then when the outlining was done, he took a quick break, and then came back to get started with the shading.

He worked on it for a couple of hours, but it did not seem to take nearly that long for him to get the coloring in the butterfly done, but that is how long it took him! He then took another break before coming back to do the tribal, he tattooed the tribal on me, and then did some final touches on it. He was then done for the day since, I had been getting tattooed for a little over four hours at this point. So he wrapped and taped it up and I made an appointment to come back in three weeks for the final touches and touch ups on it, paid and tipped him, and was on my way!

Matthew and I left the shop and I was totally with out a doubt satisfied with the experience I had. It was wonderful. Of course, it hurt somewhat, but I have found joy in the pain that comes along with the tattooing process!

So, three weeks passed, and my tattoo was healed up wonderfully. It was time for my second sitting for this tattoo, I was totally thrilled about going to! I just love being tattooed! Matt and I went to this appointment and as normal, everything was set up, and I went back there and he began to do the finishing touches on my beloved tattoo! This took about an hour for him to complete, and I enjoyed every second the needles penetrated my skin!

I have had many comments about my tattoo that range from, wow, did you want it that big? To oh god, did that not hurt? And of course have had many comments on it, and people who are like, oh I want something right there, but no where near the size of yours! Let me comment on this, yes I wanted it that big! If I didn't I would not have gotten it that big! I just so happen to adore and love tattoos, especially big ones! Yes, it did hurt, but as I have said I enjoy the pain!

Chris Hudson, is a wonderful tattoo artist whom I would with out hesitation recommend to anyone in the area that would like to have some tattooing done. He is a very talented artist and great guy all around! He will make you feel very comfortable, and his professional attitude will make you relax even more, because you will know that you are in good hands!

I have now had this tattoo for about a year now, and it looks absolutely wonderful, there are images on my IAM page of this, and it looks as great as it did the first day I got it! I have been very protective with covering it with sunscreen if I am ever in the sun!
