Exactly two days after getting a kanji tattoo and a lip piercing done at Lambadi City Tattoo, I was back for more! I was no stranger to this place, having many piercings, and a tattoo done prior to this experience there.

So, I went with her, and when I was there, I began looking through a book of flowers, not a tattoo book, but a book of real life flowers that grow in various locations. I flipped through the pages, because I was in hopes of finding something that would catch my eye, so I could have it tattooed on my right foot.
I continued to flip through the pages until I came across a picture of a pink lily that caught my eye. I loved it at first sight. I knew from the moment I laid my eyes upon that photograph I had to have that tattooed on my foot. It was just perfect.
Hudson, the tattoo artist that did my first tattoo for me, was not in, however, Chas, another artist at Lambadi City was in, and talked with my about the tattoo. He seemed like an awesome guy, and I was impressed with his portfolio, so I decided that I would trust him to tattoo my foot. He took a look at the flower that I wanted, and took it back in the back room with him, where he jazzed it up, and changed it around a bit. It was even more beautiful than in the picture! I asked him for a price estimate, and I asked him when the soonest I could get tattooed would be. He gave me the price, and proceeded to tell me that if I wanted to hang out a while, he could ink me up after he finished a appointment that he had coming in all ready. I agreed, and hung out at the shop until he was finished with her tattooing.
I was not nervous at all waiting in the lobby, because I had just been there for a tattoo recently and I knew that this was a clean trustworthy place with awesome people, so I had nothing to fear! He finished up the girls tattoo, and then he went outside to take a smoke break. When he came back inside he had my sign some paper work and he copied my ID. Then he told me to hang out for a few more minutes while he got his area prepared and everything ready to go!
I waited a little while longer, and then he told me everything was set up, and asked if I was ready. Of course, I replied that I was ready and began to walk to his area. He cleaned the area, applied the stencil and had me approve the placement. It was perfect. So, he prepared a few more things and that's when my second tattooing experience began!
I had not really thought about the fact that tattooing on the feet could be a slightly painful experience, because it was applying so much pressure right onto the bones. However, this thought did come to mind after the tattoo gun began penetrating my skin! However, although I found this to be painful to a certain extent, it was a pain that I as odd as it sounds to some people, came to enjoy.
Unlike my first tattoo, my tattoo on my foot was within eye shot, so I could watch the whole process. I observed the needles going in and out as I grinned in excitement. I watched the blood trickle out of the holes that were being made, and watched in pure entertainment.
This experience brought me to a whole new level in the realm of tattooing, I felt such bliss from the pain, something I could never have imagined I would come to enjoy as much as I enjoyed this. I almost felt a sense of disappointment as the tattooing was coming to an end, and he told me I was all done! Sure, I was happy with the beautiful tattoo that I now had on my foot, however I did not want the pain that was spiked with such pleasure to end.
I gazed at my beautiful tattoo as Chas was wrapping and taping it up. He told me all the aftercare instructions, I paid and tipped him, and was on my way. On a wonderful natural high, that can not be described, but only understood from the actual end result feeling of body modification.
I must admit, that Chas was a wonderful tattoo artist whom I would highly recommend. He was very professional and very helpful when it came to explaining to him what I wanted exactly for the design of the tattoo.
I know this is not a reaction that is extremely typical in tattooing, however it is a reaction that is most definitely sparked in my experience, and one I continue to enjoy when I enter into new experiences!
