What more could a girl want for her nineteenth birthday than a beautiful tattoo to cover up a mistake that she had made one year prior! Yes, shortly after turning 18 I made a spur of the moment decision to get a kanji tattoo, that I later came to regret! So, what is a girl to do? Cover it up! With a wonderful new tattoo, that the love of her life is paying for as a birthday present!

So, after Matt gave me the money for my birthday present, I went and talked to a new tattoo artist at Lambadi City. He had been tattooing for a while, but at a different location. I was a bit torn on whether or not to let someone new tattoo on my body, but I glanced through his portfolio, and he was very wonderful about going through it with me, showing me cover-ups that he had done previously, and talking to me about the cover-up. I showed him the picture of a tiger lily that Matt had drawn up for me, and he said that with a little modification of it, it could work wonders on covering it up for me! So, he said that he would work with it for a few days, and I made an appointment to go in and get tattooed by him.

So, quickly the day of the tattoo came and I was anxious to get this kanji covered up once and for all! I was delighted and amazed at the drawing he showed me that he had come up with off of what Matt had drawn for me. Yes, Matt's drawing was great, however not great for the cover up at hand! I told him I liked the drawing, and then he set up, had me sign the normal paper work and copied my ID on the copy machine.

He then asked if I was ready, and since I have had tattoos before, and know that I adore the feeling I get from them, I told him that I am always ready! He smiled, and we headed back to his station set up. He wiped off the area, applied the stencil, and had me take a look at it. It was perfect! I could not have been more excited! So, we indulged in some small talk, about where I was from, where I went to school, and stuff like that as he began to tattoo me.

He quickly realized that I was sitting totally still for him, didn't complain at all, and was even smiling. He told me that he loves having people like me come in! I told him about how I enjoy being tattooed and the feeling. We began to talk about BME as he tattooed me, and about body modification, my future plans with it, and things of that nature. I continued to enjoy the needles penetrating my skin as we talked.

I enjoyed it so much that at one point I can only describe it as I felt so relaxed and almost in a strange way was being massaged and almost fell asleep. He noticed the silence and asked me if I was okay. I then became alert to the fact that I was falling asleep! I told him that, and he laughed, he was like that's great!

I could hear him talking about how great the tattoo was coming along, and he would tell me what he was working on during it, and all those good details! He was quite friendly, yet professional and just a great guy to be tattooed by! He took a picture after the out line was done to show the before and after, with that being the before shot, and he asked that if I could to come back in a few weeks later to get an after shot once it is all healed up, I said that wouldn't be a problem. We took a quick break, because Casper, the piercer (a cool guy as well), had ran to get them some food for them, and he was hungry! So, I took that time to stretch a bit and walk around the studio! I also talked to a girl who was there trying to pick out some body jewelry.

When he was done eating, we went back and got started on it again. He again, seemed to be so very happy about the progression that was being made on my tattoo! He was thoroughly excited, and I love to see someone who is doing such a great job, and actually having a great time doing it! As he is enjoying tattooing me, I am enjoying the wonderful feeling it is producing!

Before I knew it the two hours it took to tattoo me were up, and I checked out my new tattoo! It looked wonderful! I absolutely adored it! I told him how wonderful he did, he smiled, and said that he was very happy with how it turned out as well! He then wiped it up some more, wrapped it up and taped it up. I paid him, tipped him and was on my way!

Somehow the taping ripped while I was driving home, and I ended up getting blood all over the seat in my car, but I managed to get it to come out okay! I got home cleaned it up a bit and showed it off to my dad, who was not quite as thrilled with it as I was!

This tattooing experience was quite wonderful. I would highly recommend Kevin to anyone in the area. He is very talented. Actually anyone at Lambadi City is very talented! But I will definitely go back to Kevin in the future!
