I wasn't old enough to go get it done yet, so in the meantime I shopped around for a good piercer, as you just don't allow someone with out any experience to pierce your privates.
Finally it was my birthday. I had counted down for months, and it was finally here. I woke up bright and early that day, quite nervous, but excited. My boyfriend and my best friend picked me up and we were off.
I had chosen Pleasurable Body Piercings as it is quite popular in my area, and I had gotten my belly button done there when I was 16. (Not to mention that Bill is the ONLY member of the APP in NJ.) Walking into piercing parlors has to be one of the most amazing feelings, the atmosphere just consumes me and I feel overly excited and relaxed at the same time! I walked up to the counter, shaking, in disbelief that the time I had been waiting for was finally here. I told the girl at the desk what I wanted, I felt so liberated and grown up because I knew what I wanted, I had done the research, and I was finally old enough to do it.
Of course there is some paper work to fill out, you have to give your I.D., and go over cleansing and care procedures. I was also getting my nostril pierced because I wanted to have something to show people for my birthday, and despite how excited I was about my triangle I doubted whether people like my mom would be lining up to see it.
Bill called me into the room, he had to check me to make sure I was fitted for the triangle piercing as not everyone is. He gave me the ok, and I was overwhelmed. After paying, I had to wait a few minutes for Bill to finish with someone else. And then the time came...
When he called me in for a second time I brought my boyfriend, my best friend, and the apprentice(who wanted to watch) in with me. Bill and I decided to do my nostril first because I wasn't sure how willing I was going to be after the triangle piercing. When I laid down to be cleaned and prepped for the triangle piercing, I looked up at the ceiling which had a sticker that said "Next Your Nipples?" my friend and I laughed and it took some of the edge off. After he had cleaned, marked, and put the clamp on me he asked if I was ready. I told him I was, I took my best friend;s hand and Bill told me to count to 3. I started to breath fast because everything I had read for the last 8 months had been the same, "they told me to count to 3 and then on 2 they pierced me.." I knew what was coming..
The needle went thru, and I yelped in pain. It hurt, but I tried my hardest to sit still and not jump backward. When I next looked down all I could see was the curved needle protruding from my girly parts. I smiled, it didn't hurt anymore. I asked Bill if I had messed it up by jumping backward, he said I was fine. After the jewelry was in I was just ecstatic. After I jumped off the chair and put my pants back on, I laughed at my boyfriend who had been sitting in the corner, cowering like a little baby even tho I was getting pierced. HA HA
The healing went relatively well. I didn't bleed at all, and I was fine, except when the jewelry would get stuck and it would pull when I walked. I cleaned it a few times a day for the first few weeks, put salt water on it..and with in 3 weeks I had sex, a little tender but fine all the same. I haven't changed the jewelry but its ok because I like the one I have now.
Now the piercing is just like part of my body. I never had any issues with it, and it is amazing during sex. I totally recommend getting one. But make sure to go to an experienced piercer!
I was so happy with this piercing, I went out and got 9 more before I turned 19!
