First of all, triangle piercings are not sleezy. They have two purposes, they enhance sexual experiences and they decorate. Now since I got that across, I can begin :)

I've researched on it online, reading peoples' experiences and places in Seattle that may be able to do one confidently. I also looked up individual piercers, recommended piercers, and people who were certified piercers. I didn't know there was actually a certificate you could get, but there is - Association of Professional Piercers, so it's a good idea to look people up from there too. I went to Slave to the Needle to check if I could even get one done since they're very anatomy dependent (you have to have a clitoris large enough and far enough away from your body that it can be lifted up) and sure enough, I could. But I didn't get it done there, I did more research and found a female body piercer - Chuck from Lucky Devil Tattoo Parlor. I talked to her for a while and she seemed very knowledgeable, telling me what could be done, what couldn't, and why and she had performed the triangle piercing quite a few times before, so I made an appointment. For you ladies who are looking for a piercer who will do a triangle for you, make sure he or she knows what they're talking about because one screw up can, well, you know, it would suck. Ask questions like how long they've been piercing, how many triangles they've done, stuff like that. A lot of if questions are good too. Just... be careful! Also make sure they use sterile equipment and sterilize those beds or seats, whatever they have you sit on, often.
The day of my appointment, I brought my boyfriend and we went to the back room. Lying down on the bed was nerve racking and I looked at all the decorations in the room, probably the reason why they're there in the first place. She put on gloves and I was happy to see she pulled all her equipment out of a sterile pouch. Hands were washed, everything was sterile. She cleaned the piercing site, placed dots on both sides of me and carefully put the clamp on. The clamp didn't really hurt but there was a little pinching here and there, no biggy. The clamp makes sure there are no errors whatsoever. She made sure everything was good, shined a flashlight to make sure she wasn't going to hit any major vessels, and we were ready to go. It was my call and I couldn't say go. Three hours later, just kidding, five minutes later, I told her to just count to three then go. After my second deep breath, ouch. And I didn't even say ouch because it hurt a little more than that. It hurt like no other pain I've ever felt, which sounds terrifying at first but it wasn't in the bad way. It was sharp, but also the most short-lived pain I've ever felt, followed by the hugest endorphin rush I've ever had. If any of you ladies have ever got an IUD for birth control, it didn't hurt as bad as that. So imagine a shorter, sharper pain that disappears as quick as it happens. The worst part of the piercing was working up to it. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, not at all.
Taking care of the piercing was easy enough. Just get some warm water and put some salts in it and pour it over the piercing two or three times a day. I also bought some Provon medicated soap and used that in the shower.
The piercing stopped hurting about three days later. It only hurt then if it got tugged or pushed from my pants. Four months later, it felt about healed, but a piercing can seem healed on the outside and not be healed on the inside. At some point, I pulled the jewelry out for some compulsive reason and I couldn't get it back in myself so I had to get it put back in by a professional... Yeah. Don't do what I did. It hurt to get it put back in and there was no endorphin rush.
Six months later (a few hours ago), I decided I'd get the piercing adjusted and went back to Chuck and showed her what and why. The piercing was a little uncomfortable because of my anatomy. I wanted one of the piercing sites to exclude a part of skin that was included, if that makes any sense at all. In other words, I wanted the piercing to be a little shorter - to keep one side the way it is and change the other side a little. She adjusted the site and pierced a new hole then right through the old piercing just like that, so quick! Imagine me snapping right there. I know it was perfect because it only hurts in one very small spot, she did it perfectly. Somehow. But perfect! She really knows what she's doing. If any of you ladies want a triangle done and live in or around Seattle, I definitely have to put in a good word for Chuck at Lucky Devil Body Piercing.
