I went to get a Triangle piercing today. A friend of mine recommended Chuck at Lucky Devil. She's always getting new body modifications, so I trusted her opinion. If any of my friends can recommend someone good - it's her.

(It's my first body piercing aside from several piercings in my ear lobes)... I asked another girlfriend of mine to go with me. We were all set to meet this morning, then go get my piercing at noon when Lucky Devil opened... Except my friend woke up with the flu this morning, and cancelled on me.
I decided to go do it anyway... but was nervous about having some guy poke around down there...
I got to the shop and told the lady who came to the counter that I was there for a triangle piercing with Chuck. She said 'ok, I'm Chuck, come over here and I'll help you pick out the jewelry'
Something about finding out Chuck was a girl made me feel better!
I chose a circular barbell with light blue stainless steel beads. Then we went back to the piercing room and I shed my pants & underwear and got up on the table; very much like going to the gyno.
Chuck was great. She told me everything she was doing, made sure I wasn't allergic to anything she was using... and kept up a great conversation. She asked how I had heard of the place, then asked how I had heard about the Triangle piercing. So I told her. She said it was an awesome story:
About a year ago I was stuck in a lease with an ex-boyfriend. I was using my laptop one day and was chatting with a friend. My ex went to use my desktop computer. The chat program was open on both computers, and I noticed that my friend's messages were showing up on both computers, but mine only showed up on the computer I was using. I let my friend know that my ex could see his half of the conversation. So my friend starts sending messages that read about like this: "Oh my god, I can't believe you finally got that piercing! does it get caught in your panties?"... My ex sat bolt upright and started looking around in a really nervous way. It was the funniest thing ever!... but it put the idea in my head, and I started researching the different types of female genital piercings. The more I learned, the more I wanted one, and I settled on the Triangle both because the placement sounded like it would feel awesome, and because I like the way it looks.
So after Chuck checked my anatomy, marked me and clamped me, she told me to breathe and take deep breaths, then told me 'ok on the next exhale, we'll do it'... and she did. OUCH! It hurt a lot, but only for a fraction of a second. I think I jumped a little. She told me it was ok to swear, but by that time it didn't hurt anymore. Then she put in the jewelry, which was uncomfortable, but it didn't really hurt much. Then she gave me a mirror to look at it - it's the cutest thing ever! I'm in love with it! (I know i'm such a dork. I've been taking every opportunity today to look at myself in the mirror it just seems like such a funny thing to do, but I can't help it. I have cute girl parts now!)
As soon as she was done Chuck told me 'Congrats, we're done! You're such a bad ass for getting the most painful female piercing for your first body piercing' - I didn't know it was the single most painful female piercing! I'm glad she waited until we were done to tell me that part! All things considered, though, if that was the worst it can get, that's awesome! Because it really wasn't all that bad. The bad part lasted for just a fraction of a second.
I had brought a good size pad for my panties, so I put that in my underwear and put my jeans back on. I had no idea if I would be a bleeder or not. Turns out that so far I am not. She told me I should expect it to bleed in 3 days when the swelling goes down, but that it shouldn't be a lot of blood, just a little, and not to freak out about it because it's normal. Glad she told me, because it would have freaked me out.
Walking between the piercing room and the front counter was awesome! It has never really taken much to stimulate me, so I knew ahead of time that it would probably feel awesome - it did, and still does. walking is an adventure now! (and in answer to my friend's question - i seriously doubt that it will get caught in my panties. So far it seems to stay tucked up out of the way and out of sight).
I paid and tipped her, and that was it! I would highly recommend Chuck to anyone in the Seattle or surrounding area who wants to get a piercing.
I did have her check my anatomy to see how well suited I would be for a Christina piercing. They're so cute, but I've heard they have a high rejection rate. She agreed that they do, but after checking me, told me that I wouldn't have any problem with it. That will probably be my next piercing. She told me that in comparison with my Triangle, the pain will be more dull with the Christina. I can handle that. I guess after this one, I can handle anything, right?!
