I first had my navel pierced approximately 12 years ago. While I was waiting to have it done, I was looking at a piercing book and became totally enamored with genital piercings. I knew that I would one day get at least one piercing "down there". Over the next couple of years I took a lot of my friends to get their navels pierced too, and each time, I kept looking at the genital piercings. I kept thinking about it over the years, and after browsing BME's site, I decided that the VCH and Triangle combination would look perfect on me. I finally decided to get my VCH piercing last Halloween. It's been such a great piercing, I've had no trouble with it, except a bit of tearing, so I've since stretched it, to 10g and it's been perfect ever since.

A few weeks ago I went to the shop to get my triangle pierced and was told that they don't do triangle piercings because they don't have enough experience with them. I was really disappointed, until Jessie, my regular piercer recommended Tanya at Free Range Studio. I offered to bring Jessie along so she could get some more exposure to triangle piercings. I had to wait another week and a half before I could get an appointment that both my Jessie and I could make. Finally, the day came and I packed a clean pair of undies along with some pads to work. When I finished work, I met my Jessie at her shop and we went down to Free Range together. I had assumed that she knew where the shop was located, and she of course assumed the same of me. The first street I turned down looked promising at first, but after a few blocks we realized we were on the wrong street. We drove around for another few minutes, and finally found it.
By the time we had parked and walked to the shop, I was starting to get really nervous. I wasn't afraid of the pain, but I was a bit worried about the possibility of a mistake. The last thing you want to hear when someone has a needle aimed at your clit is "Ooops"... that's not an area you want to screw up on.
We walked into the shop and chatted with Tanya for a bit, then off to the piercing room we went. I climbed up on the table and Tanya asked me to press the bottoms of my feet together and open my legs as wide as possible. I was in between waxes, and had planned on shaving that morning, but in my usual mad dash in the morning I completely forgot. Not only is my cookie on display for not just one, but two people, it's not a very well groomed cookie either --- how embarrassing! A bit red in the face I mumbled something about being in between waxes, and that I was sorry.
Tanya took one look and announced that I have the "perfect porno pussy". Apparently my anatomy is perfectly molded. Now I had no idea this was the case, and I must admit I the fuzz was long forgotten, I was beaming with pride! I'll admit I have since boasted about my beautiful anatomy to a couple of my closest friends. Ok, now back to my story...
She had to check to make sure I was suited for the piercing, so she spent a couple of minutes investigating. Apparently the shaft of my clit wasn't really long enough to allow for the typical triangle piercing, but if she lowered the placement a little it would be possible. She showed me the markings, and they looked perfect! We talked about jewelry and decided on a 10g circular barbell. While she was getting her tools ready, I went on a little mental vacation. I figured that if I didn't actually see her tools (specifically the needle), somehow it wouldn't hurt as much. Jessie was holding my hand, and they were both telling me to breath deeply... "In", so I take a deep breath, "and out", obviously I was not paying attention here, because I was holding my breath when the needle when in. Oh My God!!! That bloody well hurt! But just like my VCH piercing, by the time the pain registered it was gone.... Until... she put in the jewelry, which hurt even more than the original piercing.
I've heard horror stories of people bleeding for a week straight, but I didn't bleed at all, except for a few drops of blood within the first hour or so. It was a bit tender the first night, but I just slept with a pillow between my legs, and it was fine. When I woke up the next morning, I was really swollen and really sore. After about 24 hours, I started to bruise. Over the next few days it really swelled up. One side swelled more than the other and the jewelry was becoming very uncomfortable. I went back to the shop and changed to a curved barbell, which was instantly more comfortable until... even more swelling. I could barely sit down. I did sea salt soaks, chamomile compresses, and even put ice on it every night before I went to bed. The swelling was finally starting to go down after a few days, and I was starting to feel the rewards of such a lovely piercing.
The next morning I had a shower, and everything looked good, the swelling was almost gone! I went to work, and throughout the day, it was becoming more uncomfortable again. When I got home that night, I was cleaning the piercing and noticed that I had lost a bead. I went and got one of my spare beads and tried to push the jewelry through so I could put the new bead on... then I realized that I had not actually lost the bead, the right side of the piercing had swallowed it. I tried to push it through, but there was no way, it wouldn't budge. I had no idea what to do, so I called Jessie. She told me to get to the shop as soon as I could. During my lunch break the next day I went to the shop and it took Jessie and one of her coworkers to remove it.... and let me tell you, it was a long and painful 20 minutes!!!
I am not giving up, I will wait a couple of months and try again. This time I will start with a curved barbell and I will choose larger beads.
