I have just got back from having 4 more outer labia rings put in, and it was so much easier than the first 2! For those who have read my first experience, I know you may have cringed a little.... But I voiced my concerns about not being clamped to Magie, my piercer out here in Spain, and we decided we'd try some numbing cream as well as the clamps which put me at ease a little. I was quite happy to try this as anything which might make it a little easier must surely be better.

So we all had a coffee with my cakes and then I took position on the bed to let Magie see where the rings were to be located and also to apply the numbing cream.
The cream did help a little... and took about 5 minutes to take effect. Meanwhile I could still feel my stomach churning a bit, but Magie was fantastic, and really put me at ease. She explained that she could either do each piercing separately, putting each ring in place before moving onto the next one, or place do all 4 in quick succession, so I'd have all the canulas in place before then moving on to put the rings through. So she gave me the choice of how I wanted to go ahead, which I thought was a great point, as no being a first timer I knew what to expect. I decided to do the second option, figuring I'd rather get all the painful bit over and done with first so I could then relax for the easier second part of the procedure.
Whilst we were waiting for the cream to take effect she opened the needles in front of me and also the BCRs, checking each one with the ball closure as its far easier to check before you put them into your skin than when they are in and finding they don't fit properly and having to change them in a fresh piercing.
I always shave my pubic hair anyway so Magie had a clear view as to where things were going, and my husband helped show her exactly where we wanted them – this was easier than me trying to bend in half with a mirror etc. I already had 2 rings done about 5 years ago, which were fairly central in position, and we had decided to go for one over my clit and one over my vaginal opening, which meant the 6 would be evenly spaced along my labia.
With hubby there I had something to hold onto, so as Magie clamped the first one I assumed the position holding each of hubbys hands, and took a deep breath.... The pressure of the clamp didn't actually hurt but I did feel the needle go through but it was over in a second and not nearly as bad as my first experience where they had not been clamped or numbed at all. Then she moved onto the second, clamped and then through with the needle..... easier than the first, then again with the third and fourth ones. Each time I squeezed hubbys hands and took a very deep breath. But in reality it was so much easier than I thought it would be, even with the clamps and Magie talked me though each one so I knew when to breathe.
So – it was all done, then I only had the easy bit of having the rings inserted, which was a breeze compared to the actual piercing. Then Magie popped the ball closures into place and then cleaned up what little bit of blood that there was. Then I had the showing with the mirror... and they look fabulous! It'll be great when they have healed as I will eventually stretch them up and have 3.2mm smooth segment rings in so they are all the same.
We spoke afterwards and she said as the first one bled a little more than the others she felt it might take slightly longer to heal, but gave me advice on how to clean them. I had taken along a sanitary towel as I knew there would be some blood, plus I wanted to have the additional support against the rings for the journey home. Afterwards I felt very buzzy with the adrenalin but absolutely fine, no discomfort at all.
All in all the experience was very good.... The bedside manner fantastic and I felt very much as ease. I also discussed with her my nipple piercing which is for another day when these have healed up so I don't put my body through too much at once.
