I never thought id get my labia pierced!

It's true when they say 'Welcome to your new addiction." Hehe.
I had saved up a good sum of money over the past year to go towards a tattoo, but I have not found exactly what I wanted yet and I was getting that itching for new ink or metal. Since I did not know what design I wanted for my tattoo yet I started thinking on another piercing.
I have a total of 5 on my face which are pretty balanced out and I did not want to mess up the balance, plus piercings are not allowed at my college so a new facial piercing would have been in vain. So I started thinking of other places to get a new piercing that would not show, and I already have my nipples done.
Now mind you I have never seen why anyone would want a piercing through their 'privates'. But then again I never put any thought into it. But the thought caught me and I started looking up pictures and stories like the one im writing now, and I could not help but find the idea more than appealing! It was cute, and I thought it was a good place for a new piercing. So I made up my mind right then, after some research of course! Obviously I love to do things on a whim. Id rather do it right then when I have it on my mind and I am driven to do it, instead of maybe losing my courage later on.
The next day I called up a friend to go with me for support and incase I got to light-headed to drive back. We walked into the shop called Earth's Edge and told them what I wanted and waited. The piercer Chris called me back to a private room and asked me to remove my pants and underwear. I had to stand on a little X on the floor so he could mark where I wanted it from a standing point. After that was done he asked me to get up on the table with my butt near the edge of the table, lay back and spread my legs as far as I could comfertably.
He cleaned the area and re-marked the placement and made sure everything was how it should be. He carefully placed the clamps over the markings and asked me if I was ready. I told him yes, he told me to breath deep then release which in that time he shoved the needle all the way through. It hurt!!!!! More of a stinging burning sensation more than just out right pain. My hips bucked up a bit and my thighs went to close. Which I stopped because I dident need to impel my thigh on the needle also! Hehehe.
He told me to lay my legs back down and he, very smoothly, changed the needle for the jewlery and the pain was gone!!!! I dident even feel it after that! I got up and took a look at it, it was perfect. He made me sanitize my hands once i got my clothes back on. I walked out of there so happy! No discomfort or anything, but I was still careful just in case.
My poor friend could not get me to shut up about it the whole thirty minute drive back! I felt like I could tell everyone I came into contact with that I jsut got pierced. Hehehe. But of course I did not but I wanted to! I'm pretty proud of myself for going through with it. It's not as bad as you would think, the pain went away as soon as the jewlery was put in.
That was yesterday, im on my second day right now. It's a little bit soar but nothing unbearable, and I love it!!!!!!!!! oh yeah and it dident even bleed one bit, but this is probably different with every person im guessing.
I soak it for 2 minutes everyday in sea salt water (or you can use H2Ocean) and clean it with anti-bacterial soap. I only have a slight swelling so far and no irretation as of yet, I am very pleased and I love my new piercing! I'm even thinking about another one once this one is healed!
I would recommend this piercing to anyone, it may hurt but the pain is soon over and the result is more than worth it! And keep yourself clean and follow the guidelines on what to clean with, it makes all the difference with this or any piercing.
