I've recently been into getting unique modifications (well, I always assume others have them but up until I get them I don't see others who have them, like my cleavage piercing and navel project) so these new piercings were along the same unique lines. I decided I wanted to get outer labial orbitals. Of course this is a project that would involve many steps. I had tossed around the idea for a long time but I had a boyfriend most of that time and could not get them because we had sex a bunch and I knew that would not help healing genital piercings.

However, even after my ex and I broke up I kept putting the piercings off because I had heard from many people that labia piercings hurt incredibly bad. One night, after a period of moping I decided I needed to get my labia pierced because *I* wanted it and no one could stop me and it would make me feel better.
I decided the best way to go about acheiving the final result of orbitals would be to get two cbr's in my left labia, wait for them to heal, and on the second visit, put 2 cbr's in my right labia and then switch the left cbr's to the orbital ring. Of course, when the right healed I would put in the right orbital. My piercer agreed to my plan. Thankfully during the summer my shop was running a "two piercings for the price of one" sale. So my total price estimate was: $80 for each set of two piercings and then about 20 for each orbital hoop (actually more teardrop shaped than hoops).
I shaved my genitals (like I do all the time anyways, so it wasn't a big deal) and went to go see Chris. He was really excited about doing this on me (he's pierced me 17 times). I went with a good friend of mine who I felt really comfortable with and laid down on the table. Chris marked where he would put each cbr so I could pick how big I wanted the orbital. I chose 5/8 for the orbital size. On my labia it takes up about the middle third. I went with 14 gauge for the piercings because I have no intention of stretching and this size wouldn't weigh my labia down.
I was really scared about having them done so I told Chris that I might just have one done and decide to do the second later if it hurt too bad but after he shoved the needle through the first time I decided it wasn't too bad. I think the anticipation was worse. It felt like the needle went a lot slower than other piercings but it's all in my mind, I think. The intensity was less for me, I believe, since I had already undergone some pretty painful piercings before. Chris decided to pierce both and then put the jewelry in instead of going pierce, jewelry, pierce, jewelry.
After the piercings, I paid Chris and left the shop. I could not feel the piercings at all!! I was waddling but only because I was afraid to hurt them. However, after 5 minutes in the car on the way home they did begin to sting. The only time I would notice the piercings would be when I would sit down and they would kind of fold up or something. So be VERY CAREFUL sitting for the next few days. After about 3 days I could usually sit normally. Still today though, a month later, I still sit on them every once in awhile but it's only a slight twinge of pain saying "hello! we're still here!".
To keep them clean I would use satin (an antibacterial soap) twice a day. I had swelling for the first couple days but I made sure to get large enough diameters in my rings to accommodate for that. Genital piercings heal rather quickly so after the first week they stopped lymphing. I did not even need a pad or anything after the piercing to catch any blood. I guess my labia are very cooperative with me.
I waited a week after having them done before I masturbated and that actually went very well. In fact, the piercings didn't hurt...they tickled! And after having them a month, I had sex for the first time since having them and that went off without a hitch as well.
Getting these piercings done was a good way to seperate myself now from the me pre-break up. I guess I just needed to find myself again and start a new era or something.
I have had the occasional underwear catch but really, even if they get caught or something they calm down right afterwards. Tomorrow I am going to go put in the left orbital and get my right labia pierced. It was a really good experience. Even more so because I was already comfortable with my piercer seeing my nether-region.
I would highly recommend these piercings and don't be scared by people who say they hurt because the pain lasts for a second but the beauty lasts for as long as you want it.
