I started getting pierced about 4 yours ago. My first piercing ever was my right eyebrow- it was done at NEXT! In downtown Vancouver, Canada. I loved the atmosphere there. It was a pricey place compared to the other shops I'd peeked into but it was worth it. My session went smoothly and I learned over the next month that my body (I swear) loves healing- and it does it well. Over a period of about a year and a half, I had my lip, tongue, upper ear cartilage, nostril, and right nipple done. I was addicted. I was always craving a genital piercing but I was too scared to get one done.

So one day I mustered up the courage (and the cash) and went to a different piercing salon, this one was called Insamsara, also downtown Vancouver. I had decided on a vertical hood piercing. My piercer was a really sweet, courteous guy named Syx- he helped me calm down and go through my experience with flying colors. I would be lying if I said it didn't hurt, because it did. Nonetheless, it was honestly just a pinch, and it was over in like 10 seconds- the needle, the jewelry insertion, and the bead being snapped into place. I thought sitting down would be hard and/or painful, but it wasn't at all. Over the next month I healed amazingly quickly.
So now in come the dirty details of my outer labia/chastity piercings. I decided I wanted to get them done ('them' being 8 of them) last year, after I saw a beautiful picture of a girls' labia done up with 4 horizontal BB's, closing her lips right up. I was in LOVE! I called around to find out how much the whole set would cost, and then I decided to get only 6- 3 down each side. An amazing opportunity came up right under my nose about 5 months ago do get them all done for free, and I couldn't pass it up. But the piercings DID come with a price. The deal was, Kelly at Westcoast Piercing would do them for free, on one condition- I allow the session to be filmed with a digital camera. And so I decided to go ahead with it, and booked myself in through a good friend of Kelly's.
On May 25th, 2003, I showed up as instructed (Kelly was doing free extreme piercings all day), with a friend, for reassurance. I was very nervous, but ready. I really wanted these piercings, and I swore I wasn't leaving there until I had had 6 needles shoved through my crotch. I waited about 30 minutes, had a smoke and a pop, then it was my turn to go in. Kelly was very nice and respectful, and made me feel very comfortable. We decided on 6 14g cbrs. He marked and measure where I wanted them, and then we were all set. The first piercing was very intense and painful, but over very quickly. It was then that I found a very smooth breathing technique- almost like I was in labour, I swear. The next two went smoothly and weren't as painful as the first. I must admit, the top two, the two closest to the pubic mound, hurt the most- they were very intense. But the whole session was over as soon as it began. It went very well. Afterwards Kelly sprayed the piercings with a cool herbal mist, and I said my good-byes and thank yous and then went to see a movie!!
Over the next few days I had a little bleeding here and there, and then they got very tender for about 2 weeks- it was difficult to sit down and such, but the pain was worth it. I found that a hot bath with some epsom salts soothed any discomfort I had. At 3 weeks I could turn the rings without a problem, and at 1 month all six were fine. They have healed beautifully, and with no infection or anything whatsoever. In fact, none of the piercings I've ever had or still have, have ever been infected. I swear my body loves metal. Eventually, I want to be able to lace them up nice and snug, and also be able to close my labia up with some Barbells. To this date, I've had over 38 piercings, and I think by far, my chastity piercings are my favorite. And with that said, I wish you good luck, and Happy Piercing! :)
*A word to the wise, however. I do suggest that if you are planning to get more than 1 outer labia piercings done, get them all done at one time if possible. After reading a few other girls piercing stories, I found that getting this type of piercing done here and there at odd times really does seem to effect thier healing.*
