After an unsuccessful nipple piercing excursion, I missed having metal that nobody else could see. I don't know why, because this never had any appeal to me before I actually had my nipples pierced. Then I started thinking about genital piercings more seriously, but I didn't think I had anything to pierce; I wanted something that would give me some kind of pleasure, and pretty much the only thing piercable with my pussy is the outer labia. I pretty much don't have any inner labia, and no real hood, either. So I was kind of stuck at this point. My other problem with genital piercings was that I sure as hell didn't want to drop my pants for a stranger. Since I was spending the year in Wisconsin with my boyfriend, away from my regular piercer, that meant if I wanted to do it, it would have to be at home. I had never done a piercing at home before, and let me tell you, after this experience I never will again.

After thinking about it for a good while, I decided to try and find as many pictures of pierced outer labia as I could, to try and see how they should be placed. I decided I wanted to try and do it at home. This was a big mistake, as you'll read. Anyway, I decided to go all out, and ordered some 8ga needles and CBR's from bmeshop. I wanted to get one hole in each labia, and have the CBR's lay flat against my labia.

Since the timing was good, I wanted to do these piercings as a present for Valentine's Day. When I tell people that now, they always ask if it was supposed to be a present for me, or my boyfriend. Har har. It was MY present, sillies! My boyfriend sat me down on the couch with one leg propped up on the arm and the other off the side. He helped me pick out an okay looking place to pierce them, clamped them, and started to pierce the first one. I cannot describe how excruciating the pain was. Since my boyfriend isn't a professional piercer, he didn't know that you have to use a lot of force to get the needle to go through fast, and it took way longer than it should have.

But after the pain of the piercing, it didn't hurt as much, and my boyfriend threaded the jewelry through and snapped the bead in. One down, one to go! When I stopped to look at it for a minute, I saw a little trail of blood. It kind of freaked me out a little, because pretty much none of my other piercings bled at all, but I didn't let it concern me.

The second piercing was awful. My boyfriend couldn't maneuver the needle through the clamps properly, and ended up stopping halfway through my right labia. My labia then proceeded to gush blood as he pulled the needle back out. I was glad at this point we decided to order 3 needles instead of just 2, just in case. [Please note, it is very bad to use one needle to do multiple piercings, folks!]

It took me a really long time to muster up the courage to finally get the second one done. I was getting the adrenaline shakes, really bad. When we finally finished and my pussy had its two new shiny rings, it was 3 hours after we started. I couldn't sleep because I had so much adrenaline and endorphins coursing through me, so we went out to get breakfast.

My junk was pretty sore for a while, but I thought that was normal. Then I noticed that the tissue around the holes was getting little flaps, and they were not starting to feel better, even several months later. I should say, the jewelry we used was 3/4" diameter, and the hugeness of it may have contributed to problems, but it was not the main problem. The biggest problem was, we tried to pierce my labia so that the jewelry would lay flat, but it really wanted to fold up in between my labia. So, after several months of painful migration, jewelry changes, and bloody underwear, I finally gave up on them and vowed to get them redone professionally.

I have scars on my outer labia that are 1cm or longer, I never really measured them. But man, they are big. I had no idea 8ga jewelry could move so much. But I do love my scars; they remind me that sometimes you do need help, no matter how much you think you can do it yourself :)

I have since gotten my outer labia repierced by my long trusted [5+ years] piercer, Megan, in Bellingham, WA [Camden Chameleon]. They are already a lot happier than my last pair, and they're only a few days old! But I guess that is another story for another experience... :)
