I've wanted a new piercing for some time now and so I was spending all my time at BME looking through the pics and experiences for what I wanted.

I scoured BME and any other piercing site I could find for pics and even visited a few porn sites...only for research purposes of course...hehehe. I finally decided I loved the look so much I was going to get it done no matter what.
I called Monkey at Artrageous and asked about prices and anything else I could think of. He then asked if I would allow his apprentice to pierce me since he hadn't done inner labia before. I agreed since he would be right there and I set a date for the following Monday.
When Monday rolled around I nervously went into Artrageous and saw to my disappointment that Monkey was hung up on a tattoo appt. that had taken longer than anticipated and I would have to reschedule. I agreed and set the date for the NEXT Monday.
Monday once again rolled around and I found myself clean shaved and at the front desk of artrageous. Monkey and Justin (the apprentice) saw me smiled and went to the back to "close" it off from prying eyes. They then called me to the back.
Since I had been pierced there so very many times before I KNEW they were clean and VERY diligent about NOT cross contaminating and keeping the working area sterile so I didn't watch their every move. I was finding it amusing that there were twice as many glove changes as usual though.
Finally it was time to drop my pants and lay back in the reclining "dentist" chair. I was more nervous than I had been for ANY of my other 21 piercings. I laid back and they both stuck their heads between my legs...a dream come true...NOT!! After much poking and looking and chatting between them Justin asked if his placement was good and the clamps were good and Monkey said yes. Mind you I didn't feel the clamps at all because I was so very scared and nervous.
I started my "breathing" and on about the third or fourth exhale Justin pierced. It was extremely painful but only for about 4 seconds. He then inserted the jewelry and that stung a bit too but not as much. Monkey cheered me on saying how great it looked and the next one would probably be easier.
I was still shaking and trying to look tough so I didn't notice Justin getting ready to pierce again until he said, "ok here we go". I started "breathing" again and then felt the pierce. It was more painful this time than the last but the jewelry insertion was absolutely painless for this side.
Monkey said it was perfect and Justin had done a wonderful job. Justin began to clean me and Monkey left the room.
After I was cleaned Justin handed me a mirror. I had the most gorgeous set of pierced OUTER labia in the world. WHAT??!!? I started smiling and then laughing and said to Justin that they looked great too bad it was the wrong lips. He practically BOLTED from the room to go get Monkey.
They both came back and I explained to Monkey that it was pretty but WRONG. I thought both the guys were going to pass out. I almost couldn't contain my laughter. I wasn't mad at all. In fact I kind of blame myself for not being able to feel the clamp on the wrong lips!!
It seems as we were discussing the piercing the words inner and outer labia were BOTH said and it actually SAID outer on the appointment book. Piercers are human like the rest of us and they make mistakes too.
They both apologized profusely and of course said the piercing were free today and if I didn't like them they would take them out in 2 weeks. They wanted me to keep them in at least that long so as not to get them infected by removing them and getting germs and whatnot in the wounds.
Monkey and Justin set me up to come back in 2 weeks time to have the CORRECT set of lips pierced and to remove the others if I don't like them.
It has been a week and a half since the piercing and healing is going GREAT. I use salt-water soaks when they feel itchy and sore and it soothes so nicely, other than that I just leave them alone. The CBR's rotate freely by themselves and at this time they are only sore to a VERY firm touch.
The first couple of days they were very sore but only bled at the actual piercing. Using the bathroom wasn't a problem until I had to wipe, for that I would gently move the outer lips over a bit then wipe. It was quite a trick but worked well. Since I have VERY thick outer labia I couldn't tell if they were swollen or not but I assume they must have been at least a bit.
I still haven't "used" them yet but I LOVE they way they look and decided I won't be taking them out when I go back in 4 days after all.
