Having had both nipples pierced two and a half years ago, which I found an extremely painful experience but that's another story, I had been putting off having the other piercings that I wanted done (I don't like pain). Finally on Friday 1st September I plucked up the courage to go to Atlantic coast and have the rest (for now) done.

I must say the whole thing was a surprise, I was expecting this experience to be even more painful than my nipples and I must admit I was not looking forward to it. I had decided that I wanted a horizontal hood piercing and both outer labia having assured my piercer, Sam ( she's the only female there,) that I definitely wanted all 3 at once we proceeded to discuss the jewellery etc.

I let Sam choose the size of rings that she thought would be most suitable for the position of the piercing (12 gauge) and opted for a bar for the hood piercing ( this was also 12 gauge) this will be changed once the piercing has healed but I felt that I was less likely to catch a bar.Then it was into the piercing room. The room is very clean and everything in sterile packages which are opened in front of you, Sam is very friendly and tells you exactly what she is going to do. Knowing that I was feeling quite apprehensive about the whole thing she asked which one I wanted done most of all, I said that I was not leaving without all three, and if I passed out she was to throw a pail of water over me and then carry on. Then it was off with trousers and panties and up on the couch as my SO was with me I had him point out exactly where the labia rings were to go.An anatomy examination was followed by cleaning of the area and then deadening with emla cream.The position of the piercings was then marked and Sam made sure that I was comfortable and as relaxed as possible under the circumstances. I had the hood piercing done first, The site was clamped and there was a sharp intake of breath as the needle went through the skin, a slight gasp as the bar was fitted then it was all over. Not nearly as bad as I'd been expecting. Then it was on the the labia again the clamp was positioned and again a sharp intake of breath as the needle passed through the skin after the ring was inserted there was a distinct stinging sensation but that was as bad as it got. The worst one was the last one but I think that was only because by then I was expecting it. Sam used a mirror to show me my new piercings, then checked that I was feeling alright and ready to get dressed. Once I was dressed (and still feeeling quite comfortable) Sam talked me through cleaning procedures and aftercare. I then went shopping in Newquay! About half an hour after I left the studio (I guess the Emla was wearing off) I started to feel a little sore and uncomfortable so I told my So I thought we should return to the car. I was quite uncomfortable for the rest of the day and had to be careful how I sat soaking in a salt bath eased things nicely. On Saturday It felt a little tender but not at all painful Just like a tender bruise, it cant have been too bad as I went supermarket shopping without any trouble. On Sunday it was hardly noticable just a little discomfort if I didn't think about how I sat down . Four Weeks later all three piercings are almost completely healed, and I've had no problems with any of them .

Today 30th September I have been back to Sam and had a further two outer Labia piercings., and they were just as easy and painless as the previous ones. Now all I have to do is pluck up the courage for the other one that I want done, strange as it may seem I am absolutely terrified of the thought of having my belly button pierced but that is the next one on my list, I'll let you know if I get it done., but it won't be for a few weeks until these have healed.
