Here I am again. I've already written an entry on my nipple piercings. They were my first "real" mods and ever since I kept a list with all kind of beautiful mods I'm planning to get in the future. I now kind of realize that this probably is going to be a lifelong obsession. And I'm happy with that, I'm glad I've got something that not everybody else has. I feel slightly more unique and I'm feeling more like "me". =)

But you're all waiting for a story, not my crappy-happy bullshit, so here it goes, my loves:
I wanted a new piercing, and hence the fact that my parents can't find out (yes, I know, horrible me) I had to keep it discrete, again. I had the choice between two piercings which I really liked: the christina and the vertical hood. It was a hard choice to make because they both had their own advantages and disadvantages. A christina is aestetically VERY pleasing, but has a long and difficult healing period and a vertical hood is sexually VERY pleasing, hasn't got a long healing period, but due to me having some sort of wacky complex about my lower regions I would be petrified to let a man actually stare and gaze at me, touching me and eventually putting a needle through my hood. So, indeed a difficult choice.
I really want a hood but I'm still very afraid of spreading my legs for a man I hardly know (not that Elvis is a strange evil creature, I like that fellow a lot =)). One day, I'm going to have to conquer my fears, but for now, I thought it could wait. So, I was going for the Christina, in my eyes one of the most beautiful and sexy piercing a woman can get.
I made my appointment on monday, he was going to pierce me friday, 16:45 (or 4:45pm). The rest of the week I was constantly overlooking other christina-experiences / pictures and watching loads and loads of aftercare-tips. I read very different opinions, from "hurting like hell" to "a pinch". And then there still were the rejection problems, etc. so I was rather nervous, more nervous than I had been for my nipple piercings.
Friday, the moment of truth! First of all, I was late (due to the damned busses! -.-) but luckily he could still squeeze me in. It was very crowdy so he took me to the back room to ask me what I wanted (how nice of him ^^). We choose the jewelry (a 12 gauge curved barbell) and went into the back room. I was happy that I didn't have to remove my underwear fully, it just went down to my knees. He was blabbering again (what I quite like, it comforts me a lot) and even laughed at my torn-up stockings. He cleaned the area and marked me. I was kind of shocked by the needle seeming to be much bigger than those he pierced my nipples with. I braced myself as the needle went in, and they were right: it DID hurt a lot, for a mere 10 seconds. Going in wasn't that bad, it was the going back out-part that hurt. After the jewelry was in place I looked to see the most pretty thing I've ever got. Elvis was still talking about the weirdest people who've came to his shop, etc. He's such a nice and friendly guy that really makes you feel at ease. I wouldn't go to anyone else.
I went back into the main room, gave my pass, my piercingcard and got an aftercare-sheet from the girl behind the desk, thanked Elvis and left. It was my third piercing and the studio works with a 2 piercings - 1 free system (which is incredible to find in such a fine and clean professional place). I didn't feel any pain while walking whatsoever, knowing that a big needle just went through my V it was almost disturbing. I was hanging around in the bar with my friends afterwards and went to the bathroom several times because I feared that it would start bleeding heavily, I expected it to bleed because of the numerous experiences I read, and it did mostly bleed the first few days, but it didn't with me.
It's been only since yesterday, but still, it's incredible: it isn't swollen, it hasn't bled, it doesn't throb/pinch/hurt at all (except when cleaning), it's not bruised... Really unbelievable! I guess I'm very lucky. But it's going to be a pain in the ass to shave, looks pretty darn tricky. But I'll manage. =) Hopefully I wont have any problems in the future, because it would break my heart if it needed to be taken out.
Everyone who wants this piercing, I advice you to just go for it, girl! It hurts, but pain is relative and who cares anyway? 10 seconds of pain and you'll have the most beautiful thing for the rest of your life (if you treat it right, that is).
