I wanted to share my Christina experience because I feel that it's different than most that I have read/heard. This is one of, if not THE most, easiest piercing experiences I've had. While researching this piercing, I almost changed my mind because of the numerous stories of rejection and of excruciating pain. The success stories seemed to be few. I am writing of my experience because I know there are a lot of curious women out there and I wanted them to know that the Christina piercing isn't always a failure!

A friend of mine had gotten this piercing, which is how I originally found about it. She showed me at a party while we were taking a bathroom break, and I became very intrigued; I'd never seen this piercing before, and I liked it. For whatever reason, I began researching the piercing at least a year later. My friend wasn't much help; the only information she really shared was that it hurt "10" out of a 1-10 scale, and that she had to take her pants and underwear entirely off (ha ha). I'll admit, I WAS scared after reading about this piercing, and a little turned off. I was in no rush. I finally became serious about it when another friend of mine mentioned wanting to get her nipples pierced. I told her about my interest in the Christina, and our conversation actually eventuated into her wanted to get this piercing, also. We decided that we wanted to go soon, and about two or three days later, we went.

It was about 7:00 pm when I met her at the shop, and we were both so nervous and excited that we were shaking! We had tried to "prepare" by bringing Aspirin, wearing sweat pants rather than jeans, and wearing regular panties rather than thongs. We reasoned that we didn't need any more nudity than necessary :-). We told the lady what we wanted, filled out the forms, and went into the room together. My friend went first, because she was scared that she'd chicken out if she watched me get pierced.

The lady who pierced us was awesome. She made me feel very comfortable. When it was my turn, I was a little less nervous because my friend was finished and had said that it "wasn't that bad." I removed only one of my legs from my pants and underwear, and she then proceeded to measure and mark me. She told me that she was going to let me know each time before she touched me. Initially, I thought that it would be awkward for me to have someone looking at me and touching me in that area, but I was so nervous that I didn't feel embarrassed at all (and the fact that she made me feel extremely at ease only helped). She told me take a few deep breaths, and then when she was ready to pierce me, she told me to take a breath in and hold it. As she pierced, it hurt really, really bad, but only for about a second, and then it was over. And of course it's going to hurt, just like any other piercing. A needle IS being pushed through your skin. Surely you can't be expecting it to tickle. Anyway, that was the only time I felt any pain; it hasn't even been sore. I was relieved when it was over, and excited when she gave me the mirror to look at my new Christina. I kept pulling down my pants to look at it in the mirror afterwards! I barely bled at all. The wait was definitely worse than the actual piercing. The anticipation is always worse!

I actually felt kind of silly for making such a big deal out of this piercing afterwards, because it honestly wasn't as terrifying as everyone had made it out to be. The piercer had told us that most Christina piercing WEREN'T, in fact, surface piercings (which is what I had assumed and one of the reasons why I ended up going through with it). She explained that only people who didn't have much "meat" (skin) in that area (i.e. extremely thin women) are the ones with the anatomy that constitutes surface piercings, and then, of course, the high rejection rates. Both my friend and I had the "correct" anatomy for this piercing. People had talked about women's anatomies as if it was a rare occurrence for someone to be the right candidate for this piercing, and this isn't true. You could figure out if the Christina is possible for you by simply looking down at your pubic area in a mirror. She also told us that, surprisingly enough, we could still have sex if we wanted. She said just to keep mouths away from the area.

It's been a week since I've been pierced and I have had no complications (except I've yet to try to shave, he he). It's practically healed already. It hasn't bled, bruised, pussed, or anything else of the sort. My Christina looks amazing! I am 100% satisfied and I would do it again if I had to! -If anyone has any questions, feel free to e-mail me.-
