A couple of weeks ago I met a piercer, named Dan Marshall. He is from Toronto,Canada, and was visiting my friend Mikie. Dan works out of Lower Eastside Tattoo up in Toronto, but was here visiting. Dan was doing a guest spot at one of the local tattoo shops. I met Dan via the tattoo shop and Mikie, but thought nothing of getting pierced at that time. So we went out and partied. We had a blast, Dan mentioned doing piercings on females, so I asked all about them. I had wanted to have my hood pierced for the longest time. I think that hood piercings are sexy, so after asking about them, that was that.

I didn't know if I wanted him to, at that point in time, but I kept it in mind. Dan kept asking when he could pierce me, and told me that he wanted to before he had to leave to go back to Canada. I still was iffy about the situation, because I had just met him, and that area is pretty personal to me. After hanging out with Dan for about a week I finally made up my mind. I would let Dan do my hood.
The night before Dan left I met up with him, and we proceeded to dicuss the piercing. He asked what I wanted, and I said it was whatever. He jokingly laughed, and got this oh yeah look on his face. I not knowing what was about to happen just laid down, and began to get nervous. Thoughts of whats it going to hurt, was it going to be painful after, and how in the hell am I going to walk after? ran through my head. It seemed like it took forever for him to set up. I think the anxiety mad time slow down.
I was only planning to get my hood pierced, but Dan wanted to do something different. He told me that he had in mind something he wanted to do, and he asked if I cared. Of course me being the piercing addict I am said,"No go right ahead". I love to do different things and usually if someone asks if they can do something to me that they want to try I go for it.
He explained to me the jewelery, and the needle. He even showed me the needle, and the huge bevel that it had. Then he proceeded to pierce my hood vertically with an eight gauge barbell. The piercing was fast and only stung very little. The jewelery transfer is usually the part that gets me, but Dan was so good I didn't even know that he had put it in. Then pierced each inner labia with the same size barbell. The pain for the second was not bad at all! I guess my body was a little more shocked, but the amount of sting was the same. I was totally surprised. Then Dan pierced the other labia, and that one got me a little bit more than the previous two. Still, Dan did a wonderful job. He explained every step he was taking, and was so comforting. He made sure I was ok at all times. I was very pleased. Never in my wildest imagination did I think that the piercing would be so easy.
Dan jokingly told me that now if I wore the proper jewelery that I would be able to clank when I walked. I laughed it off, and didn't think a thing about it.It has been over a week now and the piercings are doing really well. I am surprised they were not sore, and didn't hurt at all when I walked. I did however find that they tended to get hung on my underwear at times, but no pain accompanied it. And to beat all it does sometimes clank when I walk! How funny!
The experience was well worth it. I love my piercings! They are placed perfectly. The fall and form a diamond shape. They look beautiful and I plan to visit Toronto and have Dan do so much more work on me. He also gave me his number incase I had any questions at all. I felt more confident knowing I had that to call someone if anything went wrong.
If anyone is thinking of a genital piercing I highly recommend it!!!!
Also, if the piercer looks at you ,and says,"I have an idea", let them do it. I was only planning on getting a hood, but wound up with two extra and I love it! I enjoy my piercings so much more than I thought I would.
The jewelery that was in my hood did come a little loose the other day, but it was easy to tighten back up. Gotta keep it tight!
