I got interested in body modifications nine months ago when I got my nipples pierced. At the time it was a spur of the moment decision and to be honest I hadn't really thought it through and had no idea of what I was letting myself in for. Luckily, I did manage to choose a good piercer (Glen Powell) to do them. I didn't even know how piercings were performed and I got a nasty shock when the clamps went on and I had a needle pushed through my nipple! Glen was very nice and chatted to me throughout the whole experience and it gave me a desire to do more. I gave myself time for my nipples to heal before I had my VCH done four months later and once that had healed. I decided to become a bit more adventurous.
So I went to see Glen (my piercer) about the possibility of getting a triangle. He said he had never done one before and had only observed them. The good thing I have to say is that he was honest with me and didn't attempt to do one. He explained to me that he always likes to stay on the side of caution with these things and that when putting needles near nerve bundles, you need to know what you are doing. Anyway, I was quite disappointed at not being able to get a triangle. But I completely understood his reasons why he wouldn't do one. I didn't want to be left with no orgasms for the rest of my life over the want of a particular piercing. I could have gone elsewhere but I trusted Glen and I felt comfortable with him. So we had a chat about other female genital piercings, and the possibilities of other forms of stimulation. I finally decided I'd like a fourchette. I had seen it on bme before and I liked the aesthetic look of it but I had read how unsuccessful they can be. However, that wasn't enough to put me off. So we decided to go with a fourchette. Yet again, it was a spur of the moment decision. But one that I was not to regret.
Glen reassured me that he had done a lot of these and was happy to pierce me. I decided upon a curved barbell as I have found barbells to be comfortable to wear as your clothes don't get caught on them.
Then came the inevitable question. Was my body suited for this piercing??? So I striped off from the waist down and I jumped up onto the big black chair. I didn't feel nervous or worried about the thought of a needle being probed about a very sensitive part of my body. I was more nervous about getting my VCH done, probably something to do with the close proximity of my clit! So Glen checked me out to see if I was able to get it and luckily I was the perfect person for it. I have to say it was quite difficult trying to find a good position to be in for this particular piercing as it is quite hidden! After a few interesting manouvers I was ready to get the piercing. It was literally a case of spreading your legs as wide as is humanly possible!
Glen cleaned up the area with antiseptic which I have to say hurt more than the piercing itself. It really does sting. So after that the clamps were put on which were a little uncomfortable but nothing bad. Then the needle was pushed through which wasn't too uncomfortable either, and after that the jewellery was put in. I think that was the worst part as it was quite a small space to work in and Glen found it difficult tightening the ball. I looked in the mirror after it was done and it looked really good.
I bled a bit on the way home, though not as much as I did after my VCH was done. It wasn't painful when walking, the only time I really felt it was walking up stairs or sitting down. Always be careful when you sit down after getting a genital piercing. It can really hurt if you're not careful!
It healed very quickly and I have had no problems with it. I think it took six weeks to heal. It has been the easiest piercing for me to heal so far. I've had it four months now and there have been no signs of rejection or migration. I would recommend Glen to anyone, he's a well informed piercer. If you're thinking about getting a fourchette, I'd say go for it! It's a rare piercing and if you're worried about loosing it, don't. You'll never know until you give it a try!! Plus it does provide alot of stimulation in a completely different way to the VCH!
