Today has been 2 days since my piercing. I've had NO problems with it yet. Hooray! I don't see any signs of rejection or significant movement, and amazingly, being the giant wuss that I am, there's been NO pain and no problems with movement, hopping down the stairs, jogging out to my car, playing pool, or helping my son learn a dance routine for the talent show! WOW!My piercing looks PERFECT and there has been no irritation even! I'm just SHOCKED! After just 2 days, I was able to start shaving again! I just can't believe it! I simply put my finger on top of the upper ball and shave around it so it won't catch and tug. TA-DA... all done!
We tried out my piercing sexually within an hour of piercing it! Yeah, we're bad, but hey, sometimes you just gotta! But today, we decided we'd try missionary instead of "doggie-style" and it feels even better than before! I never would have thought that could EVER happen with him!

It is now 4 days since my piercing. I woke up with a small problem. OK, not SO small of a problem, but I know how to handle it, thankfully. I woke up this morning with a tingling sensation. It wasn't awful... until I sat up! It really pinched hard. I figured that I had sat wrong or moved too quick or something. Nope. Upon checking the piercing to make sure it was ok, I found that I was REALLY swollen all of the sudden! Jeez... 4 days out, what the hell?!?!I did some quick calling around to find a 1 1/2 inch barbell (I'm quite puffy as-is, and being swollen, it's HUGE!). I only came up with a straight barbell in town, the closest curve was almost 200 miles away and I wasn't about to drive that far for it, so I bought the straight and wrapped it around a small flashlight to curve it. I re-sterilized and took the 1 inch out and slipped the 1 1/2 inch in. The only pain came in taking the bar out, amazingly... slipping the new one in, I didn't even feel. Whew. Crisis averted!
Update: February 12, 2004
After about 8 hours or so, the swelling went down, so I switched back to my 1 inch and we were, again, good to go!

Happy Valentine's to me! Not only did Larren (my piercing artist and my husband!) pick me up a replacement for my engagement ring (which got a bit mangled... long story), but also my favorite Ferrero Rocher Chocolates, a makeup brush kit that I've been longing for since before Christmas but couldn't see spending the money on, but also a BIG pack of bars and replacement balls for my piercings!I haven't even had any oozing or watering. It's the nicest healing female piercing I've ever come across (pardon any naught pun there!).

Well, things are STILL going great. I'm so enthused because the migration and rejection rate is supposedly high on this piercing. I have way too many medical problems as it stands, so I figured that I'd just have it for a few days and retire it immediately. I'm SO enthralled with it though... been treating it great and babying it like any piercing should be taken care of. It's JUST great!February 20, 2004
It has now been 12 days since the piercing took place. I have had NO problems whatsoever with it. There has been no migration and no infection. Also, NO PAIN! WOOHOO!
Sex has even been fine with it... both missionary and "doggie-style", as well as VERY animalistic and even contorted into all sorts of shapes!! I have only had two instances of MINOR grabs by my jeans (wearing thin, semi-loose panties) and that was just because of the triple-layered zipper on the pair of jeans I was wearing in combination with work that I was doing that day. Jeans during the first week, I've heard were a REALLY bad idea, but I was wearing them the following morning and jeans are pretty much my daily staple, so I've been paying attention, but that day was the only problem with the silky panties.
Anyway, I've linked my Christina photos from when we first pierced, and I will be taking some new pictures soon... maybe tonight even! Well... maybe not tonight, but soon anyway! These images from when we first pierced on Feb. 8, 2004
