I'm very camera shy, so when my boss, Jim Weber, asked if I'd like to volunteer to get my Princess Albertina pierced for their APP video I was a little apprehensive. We had been piercing people for the video for a couple of days, and I got to watch another female P.A. piercing. After she told me how easy it was to sit through, I decided what the hell, I'll get it done. I had offered to get a Christina done for the video before, but after deliberation, chose a P.A. and a Fourchette.

The ring should almost be hidden from view, needing the inner labia to be pulled back in order to view. This makes the healing process pretty easy to deal with especially if you're an avid bike rider like me.
Spreading my legs for my boss wasn't the easiest of feats. Once we laughed a bit and got settled Jim explained what he was going to do for the APP audience. Actually, this was good for me, because I got to hear every single detail about how a Princess Albertina is done as well as other information that I normally wouldn't have heard.
We had picked out a ten-gauge captive bead ring for the initial jewelry. I will probably end up stretching it in the long run, but was a little hesitant to get it pierced at an eight gauge. Jim showed me how he was going to bend the needle at a forty-five degree angle. Since most women's urethras sit further back, bending the needle helps the piercer out a lot.
After cleaning me up and getting all of his tools ready, Jim brought out the clamp. I really hadn't ever done that much with urethral play, so having a clamp shoved up my urethra was a very odd feeling. It definitely wasn't bad at all, just very unfamiliar. He pulled the clamp in and out to get it placed perfectly. Luckily, my urethra wasn't set as far back as most of the women that he had pierced before. This made his job easier and my experience a little more comfortable.
Usually Jim has someone assist him while doing this piercing. The inner labia must be pulled up and back in order for the piercer to really see what is going on. I had assisted him before in this piercing, so I threw on some gloves and did it myself.
After explaining the procedure for the camera once more, he placed the needle on the bottom wall of my urethra and told me to take a nice deep breath. Jim's voice completely calmed my nerves and I began to relax. I took a couple long breaths, and on the third, the needle slipped through and out into my vaginal opening. I hadn't flinched or even felt much pain at all. I was completely surprised at how easy it had been and looked at the camera with complete shock.
After the ring had been placed in my new piercing, Jim had to put the bead on. Usually this isn't a hard thing to do, but it's a little trickier for this piercing. After popping the bead in, Jim actually clamped the ring extremely tight around the ball so that it would not bother the piercing or fall out. I pity the person that's going to have to get that damn ball out for me.
I also got a Fourchette done in the same sitting, but I will probably save that experience for later. Out of both piercings, my P.A. is definitely my favorite.
The healing process was not bad at all. I would draw a warm sea salt bath and soak the piercing once a night for at least fifteen minutes. I also used antimicrobial soap in the mornings when I didn't have time for the salt soak. For a couple of days I had the sensation of really needing to pee periodically during the day. When I got to the bathroom, however, I realized I really didn't have to. I guessed that this was just the ring stimulating my urethra, and I have since gotten used to it.
Jim urged me to abstain from sex for at least three weeks, since getting someone else's body fluids into the piercing would be very detrimental. While this applies to any genital piercing, one needs to use even more caution with urethral piercings. Bladder infections could erupt as well as a lot of other nasty stuff. I was a good girl and waited for about four weeks before I took the piercing for a test drive. Let's just say that I was very pleased with the outcome.
Most women don't really explore urethral stimulation or play. Hell, a lot of women don't even know where their urethra is. We shouldn't be scared to explore our bodies and play around with them. Sometimes piercings can bring us a lot closer to knowing about ourselves. They teach us about our anatomy while giving us pleasure. What more could you want??
