Genital piercings never really interested me that much. I've seen a few in real life but mostly males', and never really looked at any photographs of female genital piercings. I dismissed them as too painful and not very aesthetically pleasing. So when Jane from Fox asked me if she could do some on me, my initial thought was no. But my boyfriend James suggested I take a look at some images on bme before I decide. And I was really surprised! I realised that I had to have some! So I resolved to one day have an arrangement like that myself. I told Jane that I wanted her to pierce me. She said she'd to two inner labia first. Then if I like how it goes I can get the rest done too.

Jane and her boss agreed on a good price for us, because we were getting four piercings all up. So at 5.30, I went to meet James after he finished work. He told me he'd quit his super shitty job, so we were in an extra good mood. I got some pizza on the way, and we got out the money from an atm. We messaged Jane to tell her "We're on our way, don't shut the shop!" because it was getting close to closing time. She'd said it was ok if we were there after the closing time, we'd just lock the front door so no people thought the store was open.
We got there just before 7pm, and there was only Jane and Kat (tattoo artist) left there. They were cleaning up after a day's business, so we stood around talking while they did their thing. Jane asked if either of us needed to use the bathroom before we got pierced, and I decided I should just in case. It might sound stupid, but I was so nervous about doing something embarassing like peeing or farting on Jane while she pierced me. So she led me out the back to the candle lit toilet building, and left me to it. I'd had a brazilian wax two days before to make Jane's job easier, and make it easier for me to keep the area clean while it was healing. I peed and made sure I was all clean, and went back into the studio.
Jane started spraying down the small piercing room, and Kat left for the night, locking the front door and flicking the sign over to 'closed'. Once the room was prepped and ready, we all went into the room and James set up the screen that acted as a door for privacy. Jane talked to me for a bit about aftercare and healing times, and then said "drop your daks", which is Australian slang for take off your pants.
She put some paper towels on the table and I lay down with one leg on either side of her, dangling over the edge from my knees down. She was sitting on a stool so she was at the right height, with her table of tools on her left. Jane had a good look and told me I have quite small inner labia, and said that they would have to be pierced at 14 gauge. She made marks where the best place to pierce them would be, and explained that genital piercings can't be too deep.
She put the clamp on my right labia first, to see how I handled it. It didn't hurt, I could just feel some pressure, but not very much. She lined up the piercing needle and told me to start taking deeper breaths. I started getting a little nervous. Jane said I'd take three deep breaths, and then on the last breath out she'd pierce me. She made sure I was ready, and I said yes; in out in out in and then out... Jane pushed the needle through and I made a "ngggnnn" sort of noise. It only hurt for about 1 second, then it went numb and the endorphins fully kicked in. She put the jewellery in, which I didn't feel, and that was that! I don't think it bled, and after asking me if I was ok, Jane let me sit up and lean over to see. It looked so cool! I had shiny metal in my bits! She asked if I wanted to go through with the second one and I said yes, I totally had to have it symmetrical.
We waited a minute or so and then did the next one. The process was the same, but with this labia Jane had to position it so that the two pieces of jewellery wouldn't knock against each other and irritate, which could affect the healing process. But Jane told me that my left labia was slightly higher and different to the right, so they wouldn't knock. She marked it and put the clamps on and asked how it felt. This time the pressure was a little more, I think this labia was just a little more sensitive. I was expecting this one to hurt more, because it seemed to be more sensitive, and I was right. I made a noise, and then it went numb just like before. This one also started to bleed. Jane put some gauze over it to soak the blood and some pressure to stop it bleeding more.
Once it was clean, she took a few photographs for her portfolio. I put some clean gauze on it because the left one would probably keep bleeding a little over the next day or so. I got dressed and me and James switched places. His frenum piercings went really well, and I got to watch closely which was cool. Once we were all finished, we paid Jane and got some new jewellery for other piercings. Jane also took photos of James' new piercings, and my bridge which she pierced a few weeks ago. There was a small lump on it before but now it's gone, so she could take a good photograph. We talked about the weekend and then went on our way.
The whole experience was really cool! Jane got to do her first inner labia and frenum piercings, and I think she did a really great job. I felt really comfortable the whole time, and trusted my bits in her hands! Sterile gloved hands. She talked to me the whole time, and that made me feel really laid back, and the music was a help too. I hope that when the time comes to do my other genital piercings, I can get Jane to do them. (I'm trying to get across how positive an experience it was, but this probably all sounds like a total suck up! It isn't I swear.)
