This is story of my inner labia piercings. They're over two years old now and are my favourite of all the piercings I've had over the years.

I've got quite a small clit hood and a very sensitive clit so anything too near it might be a bad idea and I was drawn to the short healing times and uncomplicatedness of the inner labia. The silly thing was that, even though im a total baby and really don't like pain at all, I was more worried about getting my knickers of than the pain. I spent ages poking my labia thinking, well they're so thin it cant hurt that much!
I decided to go to perforations in Brighton as they have an excellent reputation and my regular piercer who was absolutely fantastic had recently moved away. I phoned up for an appointment and even over the phone they made me feel absolutely at ease, as if there's nothing that would make them happier than to pierce my labia. So, appointment made, there was no backing out now. I was pretty nervous but very pleased.
The fateful day dawned and I was feeling very excited. I wore a skirt that I had made the night before as I thought it would be nicer to take me pants of and then just hitch up a skirt than walk around completely bottomless. I don't know why I was so worried, I'm very happy with my body and have always felt quite at ease when I've had to de-pant for a nurse or whatever. Anyway, I arrived at perforations with boyfriend in tow for moral support and the guys there instantly make me feel relaxed. They're so friendly and welcoming which just what you need when you arrive for your appointment. After a few minutes wait Rob takes me downstairs into the green room. He's very friendly and chatty although I'm still feeling a bit nervous. After taking my pants of and getting up on the chair thing I have a fun few minutes exclaiming how I've never had my feet in stirrups before and how funny it is. I tend to ramble a lot when I'm nervous. After a quick poke around and clean he tells me that he's going to clamp my labia together and pierce them as one. I've never heard of it being done this way but part of me was thinking at least it'l be like only one piercing! So clamps on, deep breath and needle though. Ow ow ow! I can't quite remember this bit but I'm pretty sure I shouted a rude word and tried to clamp my legs together. It hurt a lot but of course it's always very very quick and the pains over before you really know what's happening. He spends a while getting the rings in and stopping the blood, of which they were copious amounts. Then those magic words, "all done"! Rob gives me a hand mirror to inspect his work and I fell in love, my labia looked beautiful. He hands me some tissues to put in my pants and after a quick chat on aftercare and exchanging of money I'm good to go. Walking down the road was unpleasant as all the blood had kinda trickled down between my bum cheeks so I hopped to the nearest toilet to clean up a bit. Other than that I wasn't in any pain and couldn't really feel my new piercings at all although "\Ãw€ë I was being extra careful about sitting down. Going for the first wee was interesting and I bleed from one side until late the next day which worried me a bit but I'd heard it was fairly common.
I used sea salt solution to clean my piercings twice a day and I did it by squatting over a cup. The healing was very uneventful and they seemed pretty much healed after about 2 weeks although I couldn't comfortably have sex until about 4 weeks. I think this is one reason why I love these piercings so much because usually my body takes a very long time to heal anything and although I'm patient and treat piercings well it can get a bit annoying but these were just so easy. They also started to stretch very quickly which I didn't like at first so I started wearing very small 1.2mm rings which looked adorable but recently I've been keen on them stretching and it took very little effort to get them to 3.2mm. It felt great having big bits of metal between my legs but they sometimes got in the way during sex so I now wear 1.6mm rings and leave the 3.2mm for special occasions.
I would say to anyone thinking about genital piercings that the inner labia are good ones to go for if you're looking for something that's visually appealing. They're lots of fun, look great and are easy to heal. The discomfort of the procedure is minimal and any pain is over very quickly to be replaced by joy at having such pretty labia!
