To me piercings are more than just another hole in my body that I can show off to people.

Piercings make me feel better about who I am, and what I am, and sometimes they're just the thing that I need to get my mind straight. A little bit of pain can do so much.

I have been thinking about getting my inner labia's for a while. I decided that I was going to get them some time after I got my septum pierced which was on my birthday on Sept. 22nd. I did my research, read other people's experiences and all that good stuff. It was almost Halloween, to be exact, it was 28th of October. And I was having a really hard time in college, with my classes, and I was having some major personal problems...and I was about to give up on everything I was so stressed out.... So on Tuesday evening (the 28th) I was online and I was talking to my piercer. And I was just telling him how stressed out I was and just complaining to him. He knows that piercings help me deal with stuff...after all he pierced me many many times before. The studio (Planet Three) was closing soon. But he told me that if I wanted to get pierced he'd prepare everything, and he'd be ready for me when I got there. Adrian pierced my vertical hood few months earlier, so he knew my anat omy, or something (I have "well developed" inner labia's).

So I had about 2 hours before planet three closed for the day, to make up my mind on if I wanted to get pierced or not. I told Adrian that I will tell him my decision in half an hour. My friend Bridget was in my dorm room, so I asked for her opinion and she told me it was up to me, but she'd go with me for moral support. I thought about it for few minutes, and decided I wanted to get pierced that night. I called my best friend, Joey, and asked if he also wanted to go with me for moral support, which he did. So Bridget and I went to pick up Joey and then we went to Planet Three. When we got there Adrian already sterilized everything, including 2 12g 1/2" captive bead rings. Adrian and I went to the back room while Joey and Bridget waited for me up front.

While I took off my pants and Adrian washed his hands and put on the gloves and got everything ready, we talked about my personal problems, and he just helped me get my mind somewhat straight. It was time for the piercings, he marked my labias and let me look at the marks, which were perfect, just where I wanted them. (A little closer to the top, because I eventually want to get 2 more pairs or rings). He put the clamps on, which were still a little hot, and told me to breathe. Like I said earlier Adrian has pierced me before many times, so I knew he pierced on the third breath out.
I was ready for pain since from all the stories I've read, most people said it hurt really bad.
In his calm voice Adrian told me to
"Take a deep breath in, and let it out" "take a deep breath in, and let it out"
"OUCH"
He pierced me on the second breath out, which confused me a little, but I think because I was not expecting it at that point, it hurt A LOT less than I expected, actually it didn't hurt much at all.
Ok it was time for the second one, he put the clamps on, and once again.
"Take a deep breath in, and let it out, take a deep breath in, and let it out, take a deep breath in"
"Oh FUCK"
Then he put the second ring in, which didn't hurt a lot either, although the second hole hurt just a little more than the first one, but I knew that was going to happen, it always does.

But in general, both of my piercings were very painless, I actually think my nipple piercings hurt more. So I put my pants on, and walked out to the front. Walking was a very strange, slightly painful thing to do. Bridget and Joey laughed at me. Adrian gave me the aftercare sheet, and I paid for the piercings, unfortunately I didn't have enough money for the tip. For the next 2 days my new piercings bleed a little, and it took me a while to walk normally again. For the first week or so, when I walked I had to stop every once in a while and adjust my pants/panties/or piercings. All my friends laughed when I did that...but I didn't care. I waited about a week and a half before I had sex. I know I should have waited longer, but they healed quickly. It's been about two and a half months now, and they are doing great. Every once in a while the rings get a little twisted and it just get really uncomfortable so I fix them, but that doesn't happen much.

Oh and by the way a week or so after I got pierced I went back to planet three and tipped Adrian for doing a great job.

So if anyone is thinking about getting inner labia piercings, I strongly recommend it, to me they were pretty painless, and they are just really pretty piercings.

p.s. I'm very glad I have a piercer that I trust, who is also my friend now. It really makes things a lot easier if you trust your piercer, especially when it comes to genital piercings.
