When I was getting my last tattoo, I saw a sign in the shop that said "Free Genital Piercings, By Appointment Only". This made me VERY happy, since I have been wanting to get my outer labia pierced a few times each. I have been wanting chastity rings for some time now, but cannot afford to pay to get my outer labia pierced two or three times each. So I called up when Tom, the piercing artist offering the free genital work, was scheduled to work. He said the outer labia were no longer free. So I did not make the appointment. I took a day or two to decide, and I obviously decided to get them done, or this wouldn't be much of a story. So, I decided earlier this week that I wanted to get my inner labia pierced. I really wanted my outer labia pierced for chastity rings, but the inner labia piercings were free, so I figured I might as well. The reason they were free is because Tom does not have enough experience with them to charge yet, so he is piercing them for free until he get s enough to be comfortable.

The sooner the better was fine by me. I didn't want the inner to no longer be free before I got a chance to get back up to the shop. One of my other friends came with to get one of her nipples pierced after I was finished, but that's a whole other experience, so back to my story. We got to the shop, filled out all the necessary paperwork, I decided on barbells instead of captive bead rings, and it was time to set up. We talked while he was setting up and some after, just to relax and set a nice, comfortable atmosphere. It's not every day I take my panties off and spread open in front of a complete stranger, so you have to be comfortable around the piercing artist. After we were both relaxed, I was his first inner labia piercing, so he was probably at least a little nervous as well, he explained the sterilization procedures to me. The inner labia were to be my 27th and 28th piercings, not including my ret ired piercings, but it's still mandatory he explains the procedures to me. It was all very professional, most of my piercings were not. The first time I got my clit hood pierced, I got to lay on the table with stirrups. I was kind of looking forward to that again, in a weird sort of way, but there was no table with stirrups, just a chair and my legs on either side of Tom.
Two of my friends were in the room with me during the whole procedure. One of them took pictures, which I submitted to BME and also have on my IAM page. It was nice having the moral support there since I haven't allowed too people to watch that many of my piercing procedures before. It was also nice having someone there to take the pictures. I usually only get before and after photos. My friends kept me really calm and relaxed while Tom was preparing everything and while he was threading the jewelry through and screwing on the ball. If I think about what is going to happen before everything is ready, I probably would never go through with getting pierced. The anticipation is usually worse than the piercing itself.
It was time to stop talking and start with the piercing, so Tom put the forceps on my labia. They were a little too tight for comfort at first, so he loosened the rubber band. Then he told me to take a deep breath in and he would pierce me on my exhale. That's when I started to get a little bit nervous. Even though I already have 2 genital piercings, I've never had my labia pierced before. So I started taking deep breaths like I was in labor. Then he told me to breathe in, then out, and he put the needle through. It went through really smoothly, without pain. The forceps really do hurt more than the needle itself. After the barbell was threaded through and the ball was screwed on, it was time to pierce the right side. I was in a pain high state, so I did not even really feel the forceps on that side. I was totally numb from my high. Other than being numb from the pain high of getting my left labia pierced, it went exactly the same. My right labia started bleeding a little, s o he cleaned me up with a soapy water dampened paper towel. I stopped bleeding, and it was time for two last pictures, and Tom thanked me for being his guinea pig.
Everything went smoothly, and now 24 hours later, there is still no pain, no more bleeding, and I am very happy with my 2 newest piercings. I think they are so cute. I can't wait to get the outer labia done, too.
