I am not new to body piercing as I have 3 other piercings (both nipples + clit hood) but I have decided to tell you about my experience getting my inner labia pierced.

I really needed to get pierced, but after a bad experience with my left nipple I was determined that never was I going to have someone stick a needle through any flesh of mine ever again. But then something happened and I had the urge to do it again.

After thinking about the fact that I really wanted to have rings in my inner labia – despite the pain – I realized there was only one cure for this urge and that was to get it done. For several weeks I talked about it with my partner – and he was all for it as he loves female genital piercings – but I sort of never got the courage to actually do it. Then one morning I woke up and after having a shower and a shave I thought that today was the day and rang up the studio to make an appointment. They said I could just pop in, as there were no pre-bookings for that day. So after having breakfast and finding a pad (never get pierced on an empty stomach and if you're getting a genital piercing bring a pad as it might bleed a bit more than you expect) I was off to the studio.
I deliberately chose a different studio than I had for my other piercings because I wanted to see how they would compare. When I got there my piercer was waiting for me – a nice, rather attractive young man......... and he was going to poke around my genitalia... ;o) Well, after establishing that I was not underage (I was 40 this September) and what piercings I wanted done, he led me to the small closed room where he performed the private piercings as he called it. He had a nice chair in there – no stirrups that I hear about from other experiences – and he asked me to take off my trousers and pants so that he could have a look as to decide on ring size and placement.
I felt a bit strange – I mean this was a handsome stranger and we were in a small room and he was going to take a close look at my inner labia, but I reckoned he had seen all the bits before and decided to go for a joke and said "I expect you get to have all the girls in this chair" and he picked up on this and replied jokingly " Quite a few, yes", and hen he proceeded to look at my inner labia. I have not got large labia – it's just sort of close to my clit I have some but they stick out a good 15mm where they are. He said he could pierce them and showed me the placements in a mirror – and then he showed me the ring sizes suitable for me. I went for the 10mm diameter 12gage stainless steel rings with a steel ball for closing. I really didn't want huge big chunks of steel between my legs – I just wanted them to look good.
After this my pierce changed gloves and started getting his equipment ready – everything was clean and came out of sterile packs, and he then proceeded to clean me up and applied the clamps. This wasn't too bad – I really had mentally prepared for them to be more painful – so I remember thinking "So far so good". Than he got the needle out and asked me if I was ready and if he should count to 3 or just pierce me, and before I knew it I had a burning, stinging feeling in my left labia and realized he had pierced it already. I know I said "ouch" or something familiar rather loud – but he said he expected "at least that" so I felt ok and then I helped him holding the clamp as he was getting ready to pierce the right labia. He asked me to keep very still – not to move and then as he was asking me if I was ready the stinging, burning feeling was in my other labia. This time I know I uttered a very long grunting sound but I did not move and very quickly he had the rings in place – no more pain. I just felt a bit numb and also a bit wet, but when he handed me the mirror I soon saw the reason for my wetness – it was blood. So I got some towelling paper to clean myself off with and he commented on my bringing a pad as so many young girls who came to get pierced didn't realize it would bleed and were talking about staining their pants or skirts and that it was good to see someone who knew what she was doing.
So I put on the rest of my clothes and we went into the actual shop and he talked me through the aftercare and gave me a card with a mobile number in case I needed to get in touch with my pierce when he was not in the shop. I paid and left – feeling a bit bruised but not much. The adrenaline rush was great and I had to phone my friend to tell her what I had done just to tell someone.
The aftercare went ok – I cleaned them with antibacterial soap twice a day and soaked them in lavender tea for 5 mins before I went to bed (you sit on a bowl) for 2 weeks and after a couple of days where it itched like h*** (just means it's growing) I had no more discomfort. Also I restrained from sex until they were fully healed – as you should when you pierce your genitalia.
It is now about 6 months since I had my labia pierced and I am still very happy with them. They look great and I think they have an effect during foreplay. My partner loves them too and have bought me some charms that make me chime when I wear them – but I guess you're never too old to have some fun ;o)
