Well, I suppose this all started about two months ago, I went on what one would call a piercing frenzy (all of which I love, just in case you were wondering if I regret any of them.) I went back to the guy who has been piercing me, Jeff from Club Tattoo, who is by the way amazing, if you are in the area I would definitely recommend checking him out, he will not leave you disappointed.

I wanted something a little bit more "out there" so to speak, and something I would get enjoyment out of. So I did some research and found that of all the genital piercings a woman can adorn, the vertical hood is the most pleasurable for the least amount of pain, easy choice.

So one night after school I went down to the studio to just talk about what getting the piercing would entail. Even if you do your own research I recommend you always talk to a professional before making such a big decision. Well needless to say that after ten, maybe fifteen minutes of discussing what all goes into such a piercing, I was convinced that this was something I wanted to do. I asked him if he had time to fit me in at that time and he said it would be no problem. He asked me to go to the lobby and fill out the necessary paperwork while he got the room ready for me.

I filled out the papers and hung out in the lobby with the girl who runs the register, talking about different types of body mods and the pros and cons of them. Jeff came out and asked me to go back to the room with him.

He closed the door put on some gloves and told me simply "the easiest way to do this is to drop everything from the waist down."I said alright no problem, took my pants and panties of and sat on the table waiting patiently for him to be ready.

He told me to scoot my butt down to the edge of the table and hike my feet up besides my bottom. He cleaned me up, then told me I had enough tissue to do this piercing (which I had been worried about seeing as how I am very petite down there.) He then said "you're going to want to pull away from me or close your legs, try to fight that urge." Which I did.

After cleaning me up he inserted the receiving tube under my hood, he then positioned the needle and asked me to breath in deep once, and he then asked me to let it out and Oh MY GOD! To say it was horrible would be lying, to say it was nothing would also be lying. I will say it was short and quick but that second during which the needle goes through seemed eternity. The pain was sharp, but it was quickly over, he inserted the jewelry in and screwed on the ball before telling me "you're done." I sat up. And in my excitement I didn't even ask to see it, I just hopped off the table and put my pants back on. Oh my god, what a rush, I was flying high on adrenaline.

I shook slightly, from excitement, when he snapped me back to reality by asking me if I wanted him to go over the aftercare with me one more time and I said I would love that. After going over that with me he told me I could come back in four to six weeks to get a bigger ball put on.

I went to pay and hung out up front for a while, waiting for my overflowing excitement to simmer down a bit. When I left I was ecstatic. I felt proud of myself for being so strong for being so daring, although some may feel it is not so extreme, I find myself happy to have gone through it. Would I do it again? You bet. But only if Jeff would be the one to do it.

I cannot stress how important it is to have a piercer you feel you can trust. I have had bad piercing experiences in the past, but having found a piercer with the skill Jeff has made me very happy, I adorn 12 piercings, 8 of which were done by him. Only my first set of ear holes, my belly button, and nose were done by someone else.

But to come back to the subject of the VCH, I love it, it is so dainty, it is so feminine, I am delighted with it, and I think that if you are thinking about getting one, do it, just do it! You will love it. It is a piercing to be had, it is somewhat unique, my husband loves it just cannot wait to give it a test run.

All I recommend it that you follow the instructions your piercer gives you very closely, it sometimes is the difference between keeping a piercing you love and having to take it out due to infection or migration.
