Well first off I just want to say that me getting this piercing is so spontaneous. I am usually the calm quiet one and my sister is the loud rebellious one with the tongue piercing and tattoos. However each year since I was 18 I have had some type of crazy outrageous thing done to my body. On my 18th birthday I got my first tattoo and on my 19th birthday I got my navel pierced so this s year for my 20th I wanted to do something extra crazy because getting my navel pierced was minor and I needed to make up for it, also it migrated and I had to take it out and let it close up. Well anyways I wanted to do something crazy wild for my 20th I thought about getting another tattoo but I wasn't sure what I wanted and I wasn't going to get another PERMANENT tattoo on my body if I wasn't 100% sure about it

So I decided to get my vertical hood pierced. I read into it ant heard that it could either heighten your sensation or you could completely lose all sensation. Losing all sensation scared me because I don't think I could live without good old orgasmic sex.
after I read all the pro's and con's about getting my hood pierced I was 100% convinced about getting it now the hard part was finding a good piercer that could do it right and not make me lose sensation. I researched all the local tattoo and piercing parlours to make sure the piercer had a lot of experience piercing genitals. Finally I found the perfect place. The piercer was a female (which made me feel more comfortable then getting a guy to pierce me) she had 10 years experience in piercing genitals and she answers all my questions about the piercing and after care of it.
I was so set on getting it done the only issue now was me not chickening out and actually getting it done. Finally one Sunday morning I woke up and told myself, "today it the day I'm getting my clit pierced" I got up took a shower and was on my way to the piercing studio.
From the moment I walked into the place I was pleased, the place was very clean and as I looked around I felt more at ease about the piercing. When I got their I had to wait there were quite a few people getting pierced that day and as I sat there and filled out the release form my nerves started to get the best of me, but I wasn't going to come all this way to chicken out now. Finally I started to talk to one of the tattoo artists that were there about my piercing and she started to tell me the story about her clit piercing, this really but my mind at ease.
Finally it was my turn to get pierced. Anna took me into a small room with a bed that had stirrups. My nerves started to act up on me again, but Anna was really nice she was telling me about her clit piercing experience and just trying to make small talk with me while she sterilized and cleaned everything.
Finally it was the moment of trust Anna told me to strip from the waist down and lie down on the bed. She ten told me to put my legs in the stirrups and scoot as far down as possible. My main concern before this point was not the pain of the piercing but the awkwardness of being spread eagle in front of a random stranger, but like I said Anna made me feel so comfortable. After I was laying there with my legs into the stirrups she told me she was going to guide me through the piercing first she cleaned up the area. Then she marked it. She then placed a receiving tube underneath my clit and told me to inhale deeply and she was going to pierce it as I exhaled. As I exhaled I felt the needle go through my clit. It was not as bad as I had thought. It felt like someone was pinching my clit really hard. After she pierced it she removed the receiving tube and slid the needle and jewellery through and then tightened the ball.
I couldn't believe I actually did it. The whole day I was walking around with a huge grin on my face. It's only been a day since I did it and I feel perfectly fine, there is no pain what so ever the only problem I had was that there was I bit of bleeding right after I pierced it and it is really sensitive to the touch. In all I'm really glad I went through with it and got my clit pierced.
