Unfortunately this is the second time I have had this piercing done. I submitted the story of the first experience and you can find it on this site.

My first VCH was healing very well and I had no pain at all. Then one afternoon a ball fell of the ring. I had had my VCH for 5 weeks and was loving it! After it fell out I was able to easily slide the ring back in but had a lot of trouble getting the ball secured. My kids were waking up from nap time and I decided to deal with it later. This was a huge mistake.

Approximately 5 hours later I attempted to replace the ring. It wouldn't go in. I thought I was just missing the proper hole. I tried and tried and tried. I tried so much I was becoming very sore so I decided to leave well enough alone. The next day I called April at Jaded Dragon II and she told me to come right in. Of course I did! She examined it and tried to slide the ring in herself. Then she uttered the words I most dreaded...."I'm just going to re-pierce you." WHAT?

I decided against re-piercing right then because I was already terribly sore from trying to get the ring in. I wish I had just gone ahead and done it right then because it was a month before I was able to get a sitter and head back to have it done. It would have been much easier to just go ahead and do it and not give myself so much time to think about it.

On to the experience in question.

I was VERY nervous this time. The pain was not excruciating the first go but I knew that it did hurt very bad and I had myself psyched up and freaked out! I normally tolerate piercings and pain in general quite well. Not this time.

I was so nervous I was shaking and ended up having a friend come in the room with me. She was not all to thrilled with being in there. I think it was more of me than she ever wanted to see! I had a bad day, was already stressed out, and was in a rush to get back to my children. I was just not able to block out everything and calm myself down.

When April started the count down I thought I was going to vomit. I was soooo nervous. Of course now I am mortified I acted like that! Then I did the worst thing you can ever do while being pierced. I jerked away! She didn't have it all the way through so I had to settle down and let her get it all the way through. I made a quick piercing much more difficult. This was completely my fault of course.

The pain was much more intense this time. Some of that was a mental thing and I just had myself so worked up! But I do believe it was genuinely more painful due to scar tissue. I could feel small knots where each whole had been so I'm sure that was more painful for the needle to go through. I screamed. I cried. I nearly puked. I think I need to send April flowers! I pride myself on having a good pain tolerance and after having 4 babies naturally I know what pain in the naughty bits feels like! I hate that I freaked out so bad but at least it is done and I'm sure they have had people freak out worse over less intense piercings.

Today I have no pain at all. The first time I was pretty sore the next day. So that is a nice difference! I had only slight bleeding this time, no bleeding at all the first. I do know the piercing is worth the pain but if I had to do it a 3rd time I'm not sure I would. This 2nd time was terribly painful.

If you take anything away from this story please let it be to make sure the ring is secure! Check it and check it often. If it does fall out run...don't walk...to buy a new ring and get it in immediately. In fact I would keep a second ring on hand just in case it falls out during a time your local shop is not open. And if you have the experience I had and just can not get the ball back on then for God's sake stick some gum on it or something. Anything to hold the ring in place!

I love the piercing. It enhances sexual pleasure and it looks great! I would certainly still recommend this piercing, just try your best to only have to have it done once.
