Well, this is going to be another expierence about another girl getting a hood piercing.. So sit back and enjoy my very typical story..
At A Glance Author *Beauty Lies Within* Contact *Beauty Lies Within*@bme.anon When A week ago Artist Bryon Studio II Star Tattoo Location Pine Bluff, AR I have been researching and contemplating on a genital piercing since I got my nipples repierced at the end of January. I wanted to do proper research and waited an appropriate amount of time between my nipples and another piercing. I did on the other hand get a tongue piercing between that, that I soon retired.. But anyway, back to the story..
My initial want was for a VCH. I started at my hood nearly daily, wanting the beautiful piece of metal there.. I felt like I was well suited for a VCH. I did more and more research on this particular piercing. I am typical like this.. I want a piercing, but it can be anywhere from 6 months to a year before I actually take the plunge.. Well I had recently been accepted into Nursing School in May, and I was not starting until August of this year, so I decided to get it done then.. Things came up and I never got around to getting my new bling.. My boyfriend made a suggestion to me one night about 3 weeks ago, that he would love for me to get his favorite "area" pierced. He did not have a clue that I had planned to get this piercing, and I have been wanting it for nearly 6 months at this point..
So last Tuesday, August 28, 2007 after I had gotten done with my Intro to Nursing Class for the day, I proceeded to head to II Star Tattoo to finally get my piercing.. The shop was empty and I was quite glad of it being empty because I was a little embarrassed to walk in in front of a group of people and state that I wanted my hood pierced. He instructed me to drop my pants, so I did so.. He cleaned up the area he was going to be using and set up his supplies. He then began to clean me up before he marked me.. Now this is the part that I should of spoke up for myself.. He never asked me which hood piercing I wanted. I should of stated that I wanted a VCH at this point, but I did not. He proceeded to mark me, and he did this several times. He told me to breathe in and when I let my breath go, he pierced me. It was a sharp pain. Did not really hurt, but it took me off guard. That was the only pain I felt. Even when he inserted the CBR, I hardly felt anything.. By far the most painless piercing I have had next to my tongue. I raised up and took a look at it and it was a HCH.. I was so estatic that it did not matter at that point.. I had done it and it was too late to do anything about it.. I skipped out of the shop on a natural high..
It only bleed a tiny bit of blood the same evening.. Wednesday morning when I got up was a whole different thing. I moved the ring slightly to clean it and it gushed with blood. You would almost think I was having a period with the amount of blood came out.. I put on a panty liner and proceeded with my day.. I was mildly concerned because no other piercing I have has ever bled that much. Then it occured to me that my hood is a highly vascular area and of course it would bleed somewhat.. Wednesday was the only day it bled at all.. It remained really sore up until this past Saturday, then the soreness disappeared as well. I get bothered sometimes by when the ring moves in the piercing, but usually I hardly feel its even there. Today it is doing lovely.. No pain, no blood, no soreness, no nothing..
Always remember to be specific in what kind of piercing you want. Afterall, it is your body, and you are spending your money, so you should want to be sure you are getting what you paid for. I am one of the few people who wanted one piercing, ended up with another piercing, and actually am in love with the piercing like it was the initial one I wanted. This rarely happens, but it does. I should of made myself clear on what I wanted.. I don't think I will be getting anymore piercings because Nursing school in general is rather strict, and I do feel complete now.. Although, I am thinking about some outer labias to offset my HCH, and maybe as well get a VCH..
So that ends my very typical story about my very typical piercing!
