Well I had just got out of a long term relationship, 2 yrs (hey that's long when you are 23) anyways, I felt like doing something that was a bit rebellious and since I am not into tatoos I decided this was a good alternative. I am not sure if I even gave it any real thought, maybe a day or two. It was probably better that way then I wouldn't back out.
So I called and made the appointment for a Saturday at divine. I had my navel pierced there a few years earlier so I knew it was clean and proffesional. I think I drove there by myself and arranged to meet some friens at a nearby pub to do some celebratory drinking afterwards. I went in paid and showed id, the usual. I talked to a guy at first(who was kind enough to drop his pants in the middle of the store and show me his brand new prince albert piercing)he showed me the different kinds of jewlery that were available and helped me pick out the right gauge of ring. who knew there were so many different kinds of jewlery for such a small place. They even had rubber thingys o put on the ring, now that I have to get. Then I was lead into the back room where the girl was getting everything ready. While I was there she gave some photo albums to look at, I didn't know there was 2 ways of piercing your hood.I justy assumed vertical was the only way (hey I am sheltered)so I decided to go with the vertical, it just looked nicer.She had to check to make sure that ther was enough skin to pierce. I guess not everyone is built the same and some girls just don't have enought to do a vertical hood. In which case you would go with the horizontal.
The girl who did the piercing was very good and explained everything in great detail. She showed me all the needles in thers packages and showed me that they were new and washed her hands in front of me and ann that stuff. She them went on to explain all the cleaning and care involved in this type of piercing. Oddly enough there is less than that damn belly button that kept getting infected and took months to heal. She had me lay back and do some breathing exercises to calm me down. Then she put the clamp on (which is no fun time) and then Wham. That needle ripped through my flesh and came out the other side. She then inserted the ring. The pain subsided almost instantly, thank god. She let me relax a little and get dressed. She then asked if she could take a picture for her album, I must have been in shock still because i said yes. So other than the fact that it hurt like a mother for about 2 seconds and I had to refrain from sex for a while and oh yeah somewhere there is a picture of my cookie in some ladys photo album it was well worth it. 6 yrs later and still loving it..
I guess i will carry on with my story. I went out later that night with a few of my fiends and had almost no discomfort. I was very concerned about infection because my navel had gotten infected multiple times and the idea of an infection down there is pretty scary. The girl told me that every time you urinate it cleans the wound so really the chances of infection are pretty slim if you take care of the thing. I guess you are sterile to your own urine, but not to others incase you were wondering. So anyways Here I am with my brand new vertical hood and in very little pain. and with the amount of alcohol running through my system that night I'd say it was pretty well cleaned and sterilized. It took a few days to get used to. I didn't wear underwear for a long time, partly because of that but mostly because it just feels so so good. I was very aware of it at first, which is actually really good. Hey being aware of your clit all the time has it's advantages. It took almost no time to get used to and now I think it would be weird without it. Before I got it I had heard stories about girls being able to orgasm just by walking and having it rub against the clit, well I want to meet these girls and see how they walk cause that never happen to me. It does make thins better and easier. Hello I have a metal ring rubbing against my clit, it has to be good. Luckily I've naever had any problems with it and was even able to keep it in during both my pregnancys and labours.
