I don't know why, but I very rarely make solid plans to go and get a new piercing done. I've always considered them and researched them for weeks, if not months, beforehand, but the actual piercing always seems to take me by surprise and all of a sudden I find myself at the mercy of a sharp needle!

I'd thought about it for years - even as a little girl I was curious about it and recently I'd started to research it seriously. But I knew it was still going to take a big effort to get me into the studio and spread my legs. Whenever I thought about it too much I would talk myself out of it. But on Monday my best friend wanted to go in to the studio for new jewelery and to enquire about a second genital piercing for herself. Somehow it was me who came out with new jewelery and a big smile on my face!
When we got there we started talking to the piercer, Claire, about various genital piercings and in the heat of the moment I confessed to wanting to get my VCH done. Between the piercer and my friend they had convinced me to go for it within a few minutes. Before I knew it I was filling in forms, handing over £40 and choosing the type of jewelery I wanted. I went for a 14G curved barbell, knowing that would be the simplest in terms of healing and after that I could start to experiment with smaller gauges and different styles.
I was told to go and sit on the sofa upstairs while Claire got the room ready. I couldn't sit down for long though! I was pacing back and too and cursing my best friend for talking me into it! She had her HCH done a few years ago so she was trying to reassure me that it doesn't hurt. I'd always been jealous of her having it done so that spurred me on as well!
After a few minutes Claire called me through to the room and she asked my friend to come in as well, which she was happy to do. Claire explained the procedure to me. She would spray some numbing liquid on to me (which would dribble down my leg very sexily) and then wait about 10 minutes for that to work. I lay down on the table; shoes and knickers off, skirt hitched up and Claire put the numbing spray on. I lay there and we all had a natter for a while. I kept switching between being absolutely terrified and totally excited. Eventually the tingling wore off and Claire got ready to do the piercing. She opened the needle in front of me and explained that first she was going to get the placement right. She told me that I had a vein running right down the middle of my hood, so she would do the piercing very slightly to her right as she was looking at it. I have to admit this did put the fear of God up me and I got a little anxious at the thought of it going through a vein, but Claire reassured me and explained that she could easily avoid it. We spoke for a few more minutes so I could calm down a bit.
Then all of a sudden, I could feel her lining everything up and it was all over with a quick pinch and a very loud expletive! As soon as it was done I couldn't feel it. Claire and my friend were surprised at my reaction, but I assured them it wasn't painful so much as a weird sensation. My friend stood there with a huge smile on my face, staring at my newly adorned lady bits while Claire put the jewelery in and sorted me out. She told me to sit up and swivel round so I could see in the mirror. I was totally blown away by it. It looks beautiful! I had no problem standing up and getting myself dressed. By this time I really couldn't feel a thing.
There was no bleeding during the piercing and I just had a few spots on a panty liner for a day or so afterwards. Claire told me not to worry about weeing and to do sea salt soaks to keep it clean. Obviously I've avoided touching it but I can't stop looking at it! So far there has been absolutely no pain or any problems. If I sit or bend over in certain positions I do notice it, but in a good way! I'm just hoping for a smooth healing process now so I can start to have some fun with it!
