I have wanted a vch piercing for a few years now. The only thing really holding me back was getting over the idea of getting half naked in front of someone I was not going to be having sex with.

I began doing some research on the web, reading stories on BMEZine and looking at pictures to get an idea of what I was in for. After a few weeks of this, I called my studio, Lucky Soul Tattoo in Ansonia, CT, and made an appointment. My appointment was set for the following week, so I had a week's time in which to work up the nerve to go in and get it done.
Finally, the day came for my piercing to get done, and around 2:00 in the afternoon the shop manager called me. Because of the bad snow storm that was going on, they were going to close the shop early - my appointment wasn't until 8:30 that night. So we rescheduled for a week till then. After all that time of working up my nerve, I had to wait a whole other week!
When the day for my second appointment came the weather was great, so I knew the appointment would go on as planned. It was set for 8:00 that night. I waited till as late in the day as possible to shower, so I would be clean in that general area. I arrived at the shop right on time, and Jeff, my piercer, who's done my nostril and labret, was finishing up a tattoo on someone and said he'd be about ten more minutes. I sat down and started flipping through a tattoo magazine until Jeff was done. He had me go up to the counter and fill out my paperwork, then I had to give him my ID so he could make a copy. The whole time, he was making small talk, asking which kind of hood piercing I wanted, and if I'd done any research. I told him I wanted the vch, and had done plenty of research. He then asked me to come into the back room. He closed the curtains and began setting up his instruments. We continued to make small talk, not so much about the piercing but about all kinds of things. I've known Jeff for two years, and I have to say I felt very comfortable getting this kind of piercing with him because of that fact.
Once all of his equipment was set up, he told me to take off my underwear and pants and to get up on the table. He told me to sit as close to the edge as possible, lay back and put my heels on the corners of the table. I have to say I had about a moment's worth of embarassment as I got undressed, but I was wearing a baggy shirt - on purpose - and I hopped up on the table and scooted down to the edge, propping my heels up and laying back, spreading my legs just a little. I kept telling myself it was like a doctor visit, and that seemed to help. He started by cleaning the area, telling me step by step what he was doing. Then he marked the area where the piercing would go through. The cleaning tickled a little, but I held in my laughter. Then I watched as he went over to his table and got the needle and the receiving tube. He explained to me that the receiving tube would go under my hood, and I told him that I had read about that online. I could feel him putting the receiving tube in place, and he told me to tell him if he was pinching me. Then he asked if I wanted to be warned ahead of time, told to take a deep breath or for him to just do it. I said I wanted him to tell me to take a deep breath. So, I felt him moving around down there, and then he told me to take the breath. I did, and he said to take one more. I breathed in, and he told me to exhale, and when I exhaled I felt the needle go through. I won't lie, the pinch hurt quite a bit. Not as painful as my nostril, though, and it was over quickly. He got up and got the ring off of the table, and I could feel him inserting the jewerly. Once that was done, he cleaned up the area, telling me there might be some bleeding for a little while. Then he said I could get down and check out the finished product in the mirror. It was a full-length mirror on the wall, so looking at the piercing was a little awkward, but I loved what I saw. Then I put my underwear and pants back on. Luckily, I had worn boy-short panties and baggy pants, so things weren't too constricted. After I was dressed, I followed Jeff out to the front area to pay. We talked a little bit more, and then he rang me up. It was $90, my most expensive piercing to date, but worth every penny. I thanked him and left the shop. The walk to my car was slightly uncomfortable. There was no mistaking I had a ring in place. Still, I couldn't have been happier.
When I got home, I went into the bathroom and washed my hands with anti-bacterial soap, then sat down to have a closer look at my new piercing. It was already swolen, but the bleeding had stopped. I was definately pleased with the job Jeff had done.
I went to sleep around 12:30, and at 5:00 woke up to go to the bathroom. Once in the bathroom, I had the scare of my life. I was bleeding everywhere, no exaggeration. I grabbed the hand mirror to see what had happened, afraid that during my sleep I had managed to pull the ring out. It was still in place, but bleeding steadily. After about five minutes of pressure, I was able to stop the bleeding, and went back to sleep. When I woke up again at 8:30, there was no more bleeding. I was so relieved.
Well, it's now three days later, and everything is great. The area is still tender, but I was able to masturbate again after two days without any pain or problem. I like the constant reminder of having the piercing whenever I walk. I feel like I have a secret no one knows about but me. I live in a somewhat conservative town; I'm surprised we even have a tattoo/piercing parlor. So, I'm pretty sure I might be the only woman walking around with a vch. Jeff said he hadn't pierced anyone else here. That makes me feel pretty special!
