Just a little backgound. I grew up in Dallas, TX and always went to Adam at Skin 'N Bones, then followed him to another shop on Oak Lawn. Since I have gone to him for most (almost all) my piercings, it is hard for me to trust anyone else, but now I will be going to John for everything (read below). Over the years I have had my Labre pierced 5 different times. I have had each side of my bottom lip pierced twice, an orbital in the top of my left ear, my lobes stretched to 7/16's, and 2 in my tongue (one vertical and one in my webbing). I also have a number of tats that I love from all over the place. My love for body mods goes way back, and I seriously doubt that I will ever grow out of it lol. I am all about the burn you get when stretching a hole or getting a tat, and the split second pain when the needle pops through. It is a good feeling and a good reminder that you are still functioning properly lol... :)

As you can see, I have had a good number of piercings, but this is the only one that has ever made me as nervous as my very first one. I always talked about it, but never brought myself to do it. On the way to do Sarah's hood at Forbidden Fruit (Austin TX), she said she would like it if I got my P/A so we would be out of commission together, but I was to nervous still. She told John while she was back with him that I was nervous, and so when she was finished, he took me back for a talk. He basically told me to wait till I was ready, but once I did it I would wonder why I waited so long. That was when I realized I was ready the whole time, but just had to commit to it. I promptly went and paid because I consider that the point of no return, and went to the back... He explained it all to me again while showing me the recieving tube and such, and then told me when I was ready I could drop my pants and lie on the chair/table/thing. First he cleaned the area, and we marked where the lance would be inserted. He used a q-tip with some lube inside the urethra. This burns! It isn't as much pain as it is really uncomfortable. Once it was lubed inside, he removed the q-tip, lubed the end of the recieving tube, and slid that in. The recieving tube was easy because of the pre-lube on the q-tip. I like this because you don't have a burn from the recieving tube and the pinch from the needle at the same time... Once the R-tube was in place and lined up, he told me to relax and just tell him when I was ready. I have no doubt that he would have waited as long as need be for me to be comfortable, but as with all my other pokes, I was ready. As usual and instructed, I took a deep breath and held it for a second, and then let it out slowly. POP! As I let the breath out he popped the needle through. I was exactly as he said, startling. Not some much painful as just plain "wow"... It's just a surprise to have it pop through down there... He slib the jewelry in and I sat up to look. Not a drop of blood, and it looked perfect. I am VERY happy with it. I am on my second day and no bleeding. The slight burn when peeing went away with-in a few hours and I am good now. John also said I should be able to slide (no stretch) in an 8g in 4-6 weeks, and then a 6g shortly after! I can't wait... I have told lots of people I know, and have no problem whipping it out to show off. It's a great thing... I recomend this, and John for anyone!

As far as sex goes, I don't know yet since I am on my second day. I am nervous though. I know it won't be a big deal, and will probably be awesome, but the thought of having this ring there and how it might tug makes me a little nervous. Since my wife got her hood redone that night, we are both unable to do anything for a few weeks, and then we will see how things go. Hopefully well, and without incident! lol

I appreciate the time you spent to read this, and I hope that if you are planning a P/A, maybe this will make it a little less nerve racking... :)
