I had my PA done over a year ago, and it's been my favorite piercing. The experience is on here from awhile back. The only update I have is that it was done at 14g. I was "puckered up" at the time with nerves, so the needle/jewelry looked bigger than they were, and the "piercer" told me it was 12g. If I had to do it over, even 12g would be small. I think 10g is the smallest size most good piercers will do, and 8 is probably better.

14 Gauge piercings kind of piss me off any more. I am not a mod snob, but every tongue, labret, and eyebrow you see on these kids is 14 gauge. I trip on the "primitives" who are 17 years old and talk about how aboriginal they are on a cell phone or in a chat room on the 'net. Hell, I'm 32, married with two kids and braintan deer and buffalo hides to supplement our income. I have a buffalo hide in a frame right now getting covered with snow as I type, and I'll probably put on my factory-made boots and go scrape it some more today. Nuff bitching. It's MY fault I let that guy put an undersized cbr in my dick, right?!

It got a test run a week or so after the piercing, and after the initial sting, it was amazing. The feeling is hard to describe, but the intensity of my orgasms was nearly doubled! I felt like I was going to throw my back out, like I was ejaculating spinal fluid! I'm keeping this piercing!

To get a 14g PA is not necessarily a good thing! I enjoyed the hell out of it, don't get me wrong, but large gauges and diameters are your friend when it comes to your urethra. I have moved 1100 miles away from where I got it done, so I was on my own. I could just strangle the guy who did it. I sang praises of him in my initial experience, but now I think I'd have gone elsewhere. Like I said, it was great, but it could've been a helluva lot more pleasant if it'd been done with a properly sized ring.

A new shop opened in the town where I work, so I stopped in to talk to the piercer. He said he'd install the jewelry for free if I got it there. He also said he'd slam me up two or three gauges with a taper all at once. Big red flag. I have 0 and 10g lobes, 10g tongue, a pair of 10g hafadas, retired (twice) labret, and a 12g septum. Skipping gauges is bad. Bad! To hear a "professional" say off-handedly that he'd skip a gauge or two made me leery. The shop was clean looking and all, so I just ordered a 10g 7/8" cbr and decided to get after it myself. Many of the piercings I have were done by yours truly, and I am big on the cleanliness/antiseptic procedure. I am not a professional piercer, and don't recommend taking things into your own hands without proper equipment and an understanding of the procedure and risks involved. ('specially when your wedding tackle's at stake!)

The piece came in in a short order, and when I picked it up, the price was right and it was in a packet right out of the 'clave, which I thought was a nice touch.

I had been wearing this 14g thing long enough that I guess the cheese cutter effect helped with the stretching (ugh). I got home and took a long hot shower, and got out the lube and ring. Sitting on the edge of the potty, I just inserted the ring with a dollpop of bacitracin like it was nothing. No pain, no gritting teeth, although I did enlist the aid of my wife in getting the ball on. Boom, done! All of a sudden I felt like I had a REAL PA, instead if that wimpy, undersized thing I was wearing for so long.

I guess that feller at the shop wasn't far off the mark after all. 14g to 10g after a year wasn't even a stretch. I will admit, it wasn't 8 to 4 in one sitting, but it was easy. I intend to get an 8g piece very soon, and eventually stop at 6g. I don't want anything too massive. I don't have a peanut, but I'm not Ron Jeremy, either! My wife gripes that blowjobs are a bother with it, so I don't want to go crazy with size. Gotta keep the blowjobs coming!

The difference between 14 and 10g is like night and day. Other experiences on here confirm that larger gauges/diameters are the way to go, and I am a believer.
