A few years back my girlfriend had gotten me into the piercing scene and I had my labret and lobes done before I finally decided I wanted to get my PA done. However the day I had originally set to get my PA done would not take place, as I found out my girlfriend was planning on breaking up with me as the needle was going through (or so her friends told me) and that was not something I wanted to remember every time looked down. I called my girlfriend and broke up with her the day after I had found this out, and by doing so the idea of getting my PA simply disappeared.

However the days before I planned on getting my PA done would be very hard on me, as some of my friends decided they had better things, my hard drive crashed and I lost all of my information, and my dentist had told me I needed to have some whacked out operation on my jaw.
To me these things seemed like a sign, that perhaps I should not go through with getting my PA done, however I knew that if I did not get it done this time around I would never get it done. I called up my friend Stacey and invited her down to my aunt's house, when she got there we drove downtown to Artistics and talked to Jeremy.
I told Jeremy I was interested in getting my PA done and asked what gauge he would be piercing it at, he told me he would likely do it at 12ga. I had told him I had been reading up on the PA and I found it was better to go with at least 10-8ga, he agreed but told me that he did not have any jewelery in for that specific size. So Stacey and I ran down to Out Of the Past and picked up a 10ga CBR, we made our way back to Artistics and I started to have my little anxiety attack. My hands were as cold as ice and Stacey said I felt like I was dead.
When we got back to the shop Jeremy took the CBR and put it into the autoclave, he informed me it would about 20 minutes or so until he could pierce me. Stacey and I sat down and looked over a couple of tattoo magazines and in no time 20 minutes had passed, Jeremy called me into the back room and said he was ready to go.
I walked into the room and closed the door, Jeremy turned to me and said I could take a seat whenever I was ready. I paused for a minute and then asked him to walk me through exactly what he would be doing, he explained the procedure to me and said if I felt any pain it would likely be from the receiving tube, I explained to him that this should not bother me as I have done some sounding in the past.
I finally sat down and unzipped my pants, I pulled out my penis and looked at it, Jeremy put the receiving tube inside of the urethra and this was painless until he pushed it right against the part of flesh he would be putting the needle through. I flinched ever so slightly and slide down in the chair a little, Jeremy turned around and got the needle and asked me if I wanted to count down before he put it through, I remained silent and just took some deep breaths.
He pushed the needle through and I felt a slight pinch followed by a little bit of pain which was quickly over come with an almost orgasmic feeling. I looked down at my penis and saw the needle sticking through it, I was surprised that I had kept my eyes open for this long as with my other piercings I tend not to watch them. Upon looking at the needle I exclaimed to Jeremy how interesting the feeling was and he agreed it was really something else.
Jeremy then followed through with the 10ga CBR that I had bought earlier and closed it up, he ran me through a couple of aftercare things he felt I should know and then went on to ask if he would be able to take a couple of pictures for his portfolio, I agreed and he quickly snapped a few shots. We left the room and went up to the counter where I paid him in full for his services and then discussed a new bar he was working at, he invited me by sometime.
I said I would be seeing him around and went with Stacey back to her car, we then drove back to my house so I could change into something that would hold me better. Upon removing my clothing I noticed a fair bit of blood had made its way out so far, I cleaned it off quickly and changed. I went back outside and Stacey drove us to the theater so we could see Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
We sat through the entire movie, but towards the end I had started to get fidgety as I had to goto the washroom extremely bad, I had Stacey drive me home as soon as the movie was over and I ran to my washroom. I sat down and soaked my penis in an Epsom salt and water mixture until all of the blood was washed away, I then attempted to take a piss. This would take me about 25 minutes before I would give up as I was too worried about how much it might hurt.
I had no choice but to goto sleep for now, when I awoke the next morning I went to the washroom and soaked my penis again in the Epsom salt mixture, I then spent the next 30 minutes slowly squeezing out little drops of urine along with small traces of blood, just around the 30 minute mark I had a flow come out and it stung a little bit but it was not as bad as I figured. So all together it took me about 45 minutes to take my first piss with my PA.
By far the first piss was indeed the worst as I had thought there would be much more pain than there actually was, since the first time I went it has been much easier for me to goto the washroom and I am already able to urinate properly in a standing position. I have only had my PA for about 52 hours now and it already seems like it has healed up a fair bit, I have had no spotting happen during the hours that I am asleep and I have experienced no discomfort whatsoever.
I don't know why I got so worked up about getting my PA done in the first place, or why I even worried about taking my first piss. I have read many experiences here on BME and many of them are right when they exclaim that the PA does not hurt and it heals relativity fast. I would recommend this piercing to anyone out there who is thinking about it, and if you are planning on going through with it try not to get to worked over it mentally, that's probably the biggest mistake I made.
