My experience began over 5 years ago.

A friend and I had been talking about getting a PA for some time. It was such a cool looking thing. However, both of us had some fear, considering we didn't know what to expect when piercing that part of the body. We also didn't want to risk any possible damage for obvious reasons and wanted to feel confident that things would be OK. Finding someone who would do it and had experience, seemed to be the biggest question.

My friend thought of searching out a piercer in London [Ontario]. However, at that time I was attending college in Windsor [Ontario] and happened to go into a store called Black Project. Inside was a display case with every imaginable style of body jewellery. I talked with the girl at the counter and she gave me a business card for a shop named SkewSkin. She also highly recommended the piercer there, named Syx.

About 2 weeks later, I decided to call the shop and asked all kinds of questions. I even asked if it would be OK if both of us got pierced at the same time, to provide courage for each other. Syx was cool about the idea and said he had no problem with it. Well... we didn't get the PA's right away, but decided that nip piercings would be our first step. I can still remember the experience. It was pretty intense and provided a real high for at least a half hour after leaving the shop. If you can withstand both nipples getting pierced in one sitting, then definitely a PA will be easy.

The nip piercings only added to the excitement and desire to get a PA and helped overcome a lot of the fears about getting pierced below. A few months after the nips were healed, it was back to the shop for the PA. Once again, my friend went along and he was the first to get his done. Then it was my turn. It was actually quite painless from start to finish. A little topical anesthetic was applied to my glans, so I really didn't experience any discomfort when the receiving tube was inserted. I can still remember taking a couple of deep breaths and the needle on the second breath. There was a slight sting and a small 'pop' as the needle entered. It was all over so quickly, that when I asked when the ring would be inserted, Syx replied it was already done. I took a look down and it was awesome to see the shiny ring in place! It also seemed a bit kinky leaving the shop and walking down the street knowing what was underneath, especially padded and protected with a rubbe r glove.

Over the next few days, everything was kind of new. I still remember dreading to take my first leak. I sat down and there was some stinging as I first began to urinate, but it wasn't terrible, as I had thought in my imagination. There was also some bleeding the first night, but I was told to be prepared for this. Generally speaking, the healing process started quickly and didn't require a lot of fuss to keep clean. It was a fast healer. I now had a lot of sensation and sensitivity in that area which felt very pleasurable. I tried to avoid any jacking off for a week, but could only resist for up to 3 days. It was a new experience having a PA and I began to like it for more than just a piercing.

Certainly, it is a great thing to get a PA and a nice option to add. The only thing that might be risky is trying to pee standing up - at least for those like myself who are cut. I've tried several methods that I've read about and most of them are quite workable, especially at urinals. Using a urinal is like before and I prefer them, but aiming at a toilet bowl can occasionally have mixed results. When at home, or when only a private stall is available, I find it easiest to sit. Of course, everyone chooses their own method.

For looks and pleasure I much prefer having a PA, over being unpierced, both for solo or with a partner. Ever since I began wearing a PA, it felt totally natural, like part of my body. It really lends itself well to the anatomy, too. I've had several other types of piercings, but they have come and gone. Somehow a PA is just one of those things I would not want to give up and expect to continue with for many years to come. It looks so good and seems so right to have, once you start wearing it.
