I finally did it I built up the courage to get a Prince Albert.

To be honest I have been meaning to get it done for a long time but never manages to build up the courage to do so. Yesterday afternoon I walked past the shop twice but couldn't walk in. Fri was my day off (back to work sat then off for a week) .
Again I walked past the shop and didn't go in, walked about a bit and came back and made that all important step of going through the door. The girl behind the counter was very helpful and explained that the piercer who would be able to do it wouldn't be in for another hour or so. We had a chat and she also explained that Fri and Sat where the busiest days and I should call back for a consultation (didn't want younger ones taking the piss,,,"hes getting his willy pierced" her words).
Off I went for a walk to kill some time and duly arrived back an hour later. Again I was told the piercer was running late at this point I was told to make sure I had eaten as they didn't want me fainting not that I would again their words. I duly went of and wandered about the town and had a bite to eat and returned. Again no piercer but I was assured she wouldn't be long. I found the staff very friendly and was quite at ease. The piercer duly arrived and I signed the appropriate forms. She went off to prepare and a few moments later brought me through to the piercing room. Was spotlessly clean as one would expect. We had a brief chat and a laugh and a joke about things then it was down to business.
Onto the table and drop the trousers and underwear by this stage most of my nerves had gone ,again due to the friendly atmosphere and being put at ease. Was really quite relaxed by now. I was marked and she explained that that might take a moment , checking for veins etc I was asked which side I wanted it to come out I didn't mind so she asked which way I dressed and the decision was made for me. Next I was told I might feel a scratchy kind of feeling, to be honest I didn't feel a great deal. We talked briefly about the pain side of things and in fairness she was honest and said it can be quite intense but shouldn't last for very long. Before I knew it the needle was through very little pain involved, I could probably best describe it as a sharp nip. The jewellery going in was probably the worst part and even that was fine. I was then asked to take a look at my new addition (that put a big smile on my face). Again we chatted about aftercare etc and the possibility of bleedin g (had done plenty of reading so I had a fair idea what to expect). Was told that one of the guys in the waiting room had bled for 5 days (slightly worried now). Was then told of I had any worries or problems to ring or call in. I left the shop a happy Man.
Felt a little weird driving home you know that feeling that you just had something done and your bodies trying to protect it? Managed to drive to a friends house and tell him about it , he never thought I would have the nerve to go through with it. I will be the butt of his jokes for a while to come sly smiles and giggles on his part.
UPDATE....removed glove and dressing after a few hour,,,,,plenty of blood no pain, the no pain bit is good but the amount of blood!!!!! I knew this is known as a piercing that can bleed but it really is hard to deal with when u see it. Redressed it (kitchen roll) and went to bed. Had a restless nights sleep to afraid to turn over in case I did my self an injury, eventually relaxed got a few hours sleep. When I got up and went to the bathroom again I had been bleeding quite heavily jumped into shower and had a good rinse, quite a few large clots trapped under foreskin. These were gently removed I dried then redressed and took myself off to work. Quite an interesting day spent most of the day terrified of "knocking myself". Peeing is still a little colourful but only mildly uncomfortable due to a slight burning sensation. I have been drinking plenty of water which seems to help a little .couldn't wait to get home to shower again. Had a nice long shower and again gave the area a round piercing a good rinse.
The bleeding seems to have stopped and all the clots now gone can now fully see the piercing, again with a big smile. Heres hoping for a good nights sleep and lack of blood loss.
Bled of and on for most of day though not anywhere near as heavily as yesterday or last night. Again went to bed with a dressing on, next morning very good only a few spots of blood, feeling a lot better now. By the end of the day bleeding seems to have stopped. Went shopping today with no dressing on and I learned a lesson , tight underwear is a very good idea too much movement can cause a little discomfort.
Other than that no blood other that a few drops first visit to loo( even at that very dilute).
week and a few days has past no blood no pain no problems...anyone thinking of getting it done i can honestly say " go for it" its well worth it.
