I had always had a kinky side a mile wide but I felt that a PA was the piercing for me since the day I saw one. After seeing a number of PA pictures the general arousal of the thought of a thick CBR on the end of my best mate had me seriously working overtime to keep him under control.
I had held off for a while I wondered where a reputable studio could be found in my area and questioning whether this was a flippant desire for something new or a choice for an enhanced lifestyle. After a day, I was still in the frame of mind that said "Yes, I really do want it" and the question was settled.
The Internet was really great for providing information and images of exactly what was involved. Kudos go to BME and other sites for providing the low down on the PA. I've never been very shy so I dropped and email to the entire miscellaneous mailing forum at work asking about good piercing shops. I love to cause a stir and what better jaw dropper than to have the nice guy in IT start asking about piercing shops, heh-heh. To my delight there was a studio 5 minutes from me and recommended unanimously by the piercees at work ( the web site is http://www.thepiercingshop.com.au/ ).
I telephoned and made an 11:30am appointment, the girl on the other end was very professional – a good sign. She took the booking and gave me advice and instructions on how to prepare for the procedure. I followed these the next day and it involved me siting at work with my dick covered in some numbing gel with a condom over it. I'm not completely sure about my pain levels at that time but I might to the next piercing without gel and see how I go. It was quite a rush to be sitting at work waiting for the appointment; I don't really believe I got anything done that morning.
When I arrived at the studio the place was immaculate, and I was informed that the matron of the business was piercing me (something like 20+ years experience) and that was a real confidence boost. It was strange to be really excited about what was going to happen and comfortable at the same time. Lynette was seriously "A Grade" when it came to talking about exactly what I wanted and the plans for future piercings. She was able to temper my enthusiasm with her experience in explaining placement options and answer all the "how to" type questions. I've always been impressed by craftsmen (and women) who really know and care about their trade.
Well, it was time! Down go the pants and into the sterile smock as Lynette and I get all the final details settled with my dick in attendance. It was really quite easy, breathe in, a sharp pain, wince, breathe out and the needle is through. A brief amount of discomfort and the CBR is through and clamped. My best mate is wrapped up with gauze and a condom for support and I get detailed instructions on how to care for him. I even got a complementary bottle of piercing wash with tea tree oil and lavender which are toted as great help for healing new piercings.
The first few days were hard in that I needed to be careful about knocking my new PA. I also had to relearn how to pee without endangering my pants but a small amount of manual dexterity was able to overcome this. It did sting once, on the day I had the PA done, which was to be expected. Another was to retrain myself not to shake when I'm done. Years of habit needed to be altered but that came fairly easy since I got a warning tingle after the first shake; I expect I'll be happily shaking again after I have fully healed.
I was expecting this piercing to bleed heaps but that was not the case, it hardly bled at all. One thing I didn't consider was that I would be highly aroused by the shower water streaming over my piercing. Just you try to stop getting erect when your dick is that sensitive! After 5 days of trying not to get erect and biting my thumbs instead of masturbating I was going crazy. The girlfriend is getting plenty of TLC while my mate was healing but no insertion for me for 6 weeks minimum to be safe. The trouble is that I'm not used to so much down time. I resolved the issue the next day or so in the shower, I figured that I'd rather blow in the shower and be able to clean up rather than to irritate the wound as I rip my dick off the inside of my pants the next morning.
It has now been 10 days and I'm feeling great. The wound is looking fine and I seem to be on top of keeping it clean. I'm fairly healthy already but I have no doubt that the advice from the studio is chiefly why I'm in good shape. I can't wait to be better healed so I can stretch up to a thicker gauge and get my frenum piercing.
