I've had my ear pierced, but it was at Hot Topic, with a gun, for free, on my birthday. It took it out after a few days so I don't think it really counts. So, this is essentially my first piercing. Anyway, I'd been thinking of getting my foreskin pierced for quite some time. I wanted to get something exotic, and the healing time seemed relatively fast (I'm a bit impatient). Also, there doesn't seem to be that much use in having a foreskin, but at least in the 'states, it seems most guys don't, so I thought that would make the piercing all the more unique and exciting. I'm not sure if it will be stimulating sexually, for me or for a partner, but from what I've read, and been told, it doesn't make much difference. Given that, it's more of an ornamental decision then anything else. It's also got kind of a ritualistic quality for me, as I'm entering college, moving away from home, and recently broke up with my girlfriend. Basically, it's marking a new period in my life. Conside ring I was about to move to a new town, I thought it was a good time to get it done.

I talked it over with him, and we decided on a 12 gauge captive bead (I think that is the correct term) ring on each side. He first set about marking the insertion and exit points for the needle, which left my foreskin looking quite speckled. This took more time then anything else in the process did. Next he clamped the skin, and shone a light thru it to make sure he wasn't going to hit a vein. Everything looked fine, apparently, and we were set for two almost perfectly symmetrical rings. I was justifiably nervous, as this was my first experience "under the needle" and it was, after all, my dick that was about to be skewered. It hurt, of course, but only for a few seconds when the needle went thru. I asked if it was okay for me to look, after the first one went in, and I was pretty fucking shocked to look down and see a huge needle sticking thru my penis, so I just laid bac k and tried to relax until the jewelry was in. He asked if I wanted to wait before he put the other ring in, and I said, no, I didn't think I could work up the nerve again, so he better do it quickly, before I sacrificed style for comfort. Afterwards, he photographed it, so I should sometime soon get a copy of that and put it up on the site. There was almost no pain afterwards, and I in fact felt really good for the rest of the day (I guess it's an endorphin rush or something like that).
I would have liked to get more done, but with two new piercings, and a lot of new ink the previous weak, I didn't want to overwork my body. On that same subject, I've had to abstain from a number of my favorite activities, such as paintball (just didn't want to take any chances), caffeine consumption (thins the blood apparently), alcohol consumption, and of course sex. That's been a bit difficult, particularly since I couldn't do much of anything at my going away party. Oh well, there's plenty of time for that later. The only other issue is the cleaning process, which means that I have to be in the shower twice a day, which is kind of inconvenient living in a dorm, sharing one bathroom between five people. I'm going thru Dial soap like a mad man!
It's healing nicely (I think, nothing weird, and only a little swelling so far), and I really like the look of it. Something I didn't really expect, from pictures and such, is that unlike most piercings, they can do a "trick". Of course the rings hang down when the skin is foreword, but when it is pulled back, the rings(and skin, of course) move to the sides of the shaft, and the rings hang down from either side, looking like a surface piercing would on other parts of the body. It looks really damn cool. Overall, I'm very pleased with my new piercing. I may add more to this article later (not sure if I can do that), after the piercings are healed and I can see about sex. By the way, I wouldn't recommend masturbating, at least not very much, or for very long, as it seems to cause some irritation and increased swelling. Of course it's hard to resist, but I'm keeping it to as much of a minimum as possible.
