It was the day after I graduated high school [June 10, 2006] and my mom had went to Pennsylvania for the weekend to spend time with my brother and sister. So like most rebellious teenagers, I decided to throw a house party.

The ones who were left were my close friends that were just lounging around and chatting. The party was an open invitation. You could invite whoever as long as they were cool people. Sure enough, one friend brought my other friend who was a piercer [he didn't know I lived there and was shocked to find out it was my party]. So as a graduation gift, he offers to pierce anything on me for free [he brings some supplies whenever he leaves the shop for side jobs such as this one].
I said I wanted my nipples done. He thought I only wanted one, but I persuaded him to do both. The only problem with this was, I was drunk and he was drunk and on E. Eh, stupid move on my behalf - Yes! I know! And I suggest to all to definitely make sure neither of you are intoxicated in any way! The result never comes out satisfactory.
We went to my mom's room for some privacy. We discussed what bar I wanted and all that jazz. He starts setting up and is very proficient in what he's doing, so I'm like - Okay, he can handle this. Cool. Then comes the part where he has to pierce them, and my nipples won't get hard. *You cannot pierce soft nipples he tells me* At first, it was just me and him in the room, but later he asks his girlfriend to come in. His girlfriend is bisexual, and at the time, had a crush on me [they had one of those open relationships]. So, they try to arouse me to get them hard. So here I am, boyfriend and girlfriend tag-teaming my nipples [sucking on my nipples for those who may not quite get it at first] - and it simply was not working [I'm straight so for a girl to suck on my nipples just wasn't cuttin' it for me].
Now, I'm not used to more sensitive areas being pierced. I had my snakebites, I do my own ears, I even did my nose. Yeah, that did hurt, but it wasn't excruciating. I was totally not prepared for how it would feel for my nipples to be done. I got mixed opinions, which seems to happen a lot [so when people ask me, I try to be as honest as possible].
So we begin with my right one. Oh...what a joy. When I first felt that go through I was like "Ahhhh..." With the deep inhales, clenching fists, curling toes. Yeah, I was a bit too hyped up, but I calmed down. As he's sliding the needle through, about halfway the bar and the needle disconnect inside my nipple. So he's explaining what happened and I'm sitting there trying to be calm about it. Never happened to me before so I'm not sure if this was normal or not. He tries to reconnect them inside my nipple. That was not a nice feeling at all because I could feel him twisting and turning, pushing and pulling. So most likely [and common sense], he's like tearing away at the inside of my nipple. By then I'm just staring down at him because after awhile, it just became numb to me, not to mention a bit amusing. Please remember, I was drunk when this happened so bear with my stupidity. So he gives up with that and takes the needle out. Now, he's just searching for the opening in the other end with the bar itself. More scratches and such. Altogether, I'm assuming this took ten to fifteen minutes.
The left nipple wasn't bad at all. It just simply went through. No hassle.
After all that is done, I was quite satisfied. I showed my closest friends [which happened to be guys] and they all agreed it looked nice on me.
A few days later I'm cleaning them and I realize both are crooked/off center. So I'm thinking, maybe that's just my mind playing tricks on me. Nah, that doesn't happen, so I've realized, when it comes to body modification. When you're going through that pain, it BETTER come out looking really nice!
So of course I could not deal with this because I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to piercings. I had to make sure my snakebites were as even as possible, my nose was centered just where I wanted it, all my ear holes aligned just perfect.. So, I took them out. I was a bit sad to do so, but hey they were free. I let them heal and I went to the shop to tell him and he said he would re-do them, free of charge [it better had been or there would have been problems]. So a few weeks later [probably a month and a half - I can't remember] I go back and I get them done. This time, I made sure we were both sober that night! And now, they look fantastic.
