I got my right nipple pierced with a standard 14g horizontally in November of 2005 and ever since then, I was itching for something different. My nipple was the first piercing I had ever had other than my ears. A lot of people asked me why I chose such a painful one as my first piercing. I did not think it was that painful at all. In fact, I hardly felt anything at all. I remember Zippy holding the clamp and me staring intently at it. I adore watching me piercings now. I can't understand how anyone would want to look away. Would you not want to see a needle going through your body? After all, this is going to be a piece of you for a long time now. Why turn away?

After a long time of thinking and asking countless others of their opinions on what I should get done next, I decided to just get my other nipple pierced. I could not get any in my face because of my profession and plus I also didn't think I was ready for it anyway. So, the other nipple just seemed logical at the moment, I suppose. It still didn't seem very different, though. I mean, I did already have one of those done. I just didn't know what to do and I did enjoy the feeling like I had a little secret under my shirt. I had something that was cute and adorable and shocking all at once. It was something just for me. Not until I walked into the studio did I tell myself that I'd either get my left one pierced vertically or a 2nd vertical piercing behind my existing horizontal one in my right nipple. At the time, the latter seemed a bit scary. I did not want deformed nipples because I must say, I have seen the double nipple piercing pictures on nipples and some of them look a little gross. I do not want deformed or misshapen nipples! Finally I decided on getting the new vertical one in my left. That would save me the deformation and damage to any milk ducts that I may want to save for babies one day. Plus, I guess I was being a chicken shit, too.

Because I know the people in the studio well and trust them, I wasn't nervous much. I won't lie, though....my hands were a little shaky.

Upon noticing that my nipples were a little on the large side,(Laugh if you must, just know that my boobies are bigger than yours! Hahaha)Zippy decided that a straight 14g barbell would be best for me.

I sat back in the chair, feeling slightly exposed but not at all uncomfortable. After all, he'd already done my other one a year before. He applied the clamp and told me to take a breathe and exhale. I didn't feel a thing for my 1st nipple piercing, but I was expecting to at least feel a pinch for the vertical one. That's all it was...just a pinch, then it was over. He even hooked me up with a little slave ring after warning me several times NOT TO HANG ANYTHING FROM IT FOR AT LEAST 30 DAYS!!!!

Knowing exactly how I am, he made me promise at least a dozen times, then I watched him dispose of the used equipment into the biohazard bin, tipped him, and sent me on my merry way. It's been about 3 months and it's doing wonderfully. I hardly felt it post-piercing so about 3 weeks later I felt like I'd had it for years. My boy friend loves it, as do I! Although I find it a bit inconvenient to hang anything from it, I always try a little something for in the bedroom. Wearing a chain or anything tucked into your bra under a shirt is just a little dumb if you ask me.

Sure, you may think that having one vertical piercing and one horizontal piercing is stupid, but if you knew me then you would know that I hate symmetry, so I adore every thing about my decision, except every once in a while, I get mad that my horizontal one looks so ordinary. I try to change it up here and there with a hoop or a barbell. But I love my vertical piercing. It's definitely different. When I show people(mostly just girls) I get a good shock.

So, that's my story. If you want one....go for it! I think it's great and I don't know why people are so nervous about them. Zippy is the best! Just be sure to take care of it well. Remember to always clean it as your piercer instructs and don't listen to your friends, no matter how many holes they have in their faces. Listen to a professional. Play fun!
