A little over four years ago, I went and got my nipples pierced for the first time. I had been doing what I thought was a lot of research before I went so that I would know what to expect but things still went very bad. My first mistake was that I did not do a whole lot of research when it came to where I should go and I ended up picking a place where the person's work was apparently known for being somewhat sloppy. Thinking back, the second I walked through the door I had a bad vibe but I remember thinking that I if I walked out I might not ever get the courage to do it again. So I went ahead and filled out the paperwork, let him measure me for jewelry and then he took me back into the room where I had to sit up half naked in one of those old wooden school desks. The actual piercing process was very awkward because besides the piercer and my best friend, I ended up being pierced in a room with four other people (who I did not know) watching.

Overall though, it went quickly and I did not mind the pain at all (I rather liked it). I soon found out though that as much as I liked having them done, I should have spent a little more time looking for someone who would have done a better job piercing me, as well as, giving me instructions on how to care for the piercings. This became apparent when they did not heal well. I ended up with infections so bad that my DD cup breasts swelled up and I began to run a high fever. I went to the doctor and they had to literally make a small incision in my breast to help the release the fluid and after that I spent a week at the doctor's office having gauze stuffed into my breast to help drain out the infection, plus I was on medication to treat the infection for more than a month. Not only did I spend a ridiculous amount of time and money trying to get better but I had doctors telling me that I was foolish to be so careless in doing something that made me so sick. Needless to say, that by time I was done with them.
Fast forward, a few years and I really missed my piercings. My husband had always said that he thought they were hot and I loved the way they looked and just the way they made me feel. After a few months of talking about it with a couple of people, my girlfriends and I decided that we wanted to go and get them pierced, so we made some asked around and made some phone calls before deciding to see Pamela at Intradermal Designs. I am glad we did too because she is very thorough when it comes to explaining the piercing process, how to clean and maintain the piercing and so on. She was also very quick. My friend went first and it seemed like she was done in just a few minutes. When my turn came, I hoped on the table, pulled down my top and then as Pamela was getting me ready she commented about how the previous holes had a little scar tissue, which might make the new piercing hurt a little more. I really did not mind though. I love the feeling of the whole process and the high that I get from it. She clamped me, told me to take a deep breath and pushed the needle through and then inserted the ring. In a matter of minutes, she had them both done very fast and I felt hardly any pain. I did have a little bleeding but that is not uncommon with me. I think the most uncomfortable thing about the whole experience was that on the ride home, my seat belt kept rubbing against me. It was all worth it though to get home and see my newly re-pierced nipples in the mirror.
Anyway, I absolutely love my piercings. In many ways, I am glad that I have my first piercing experience to compare this to and that I took the time to find a piercer who would take better care of me so I could take better care of myself. So far, my nipples are healing nicely, they look great and make me feel so damn sexy. And once they are completely healed, I am going back to Pamela to have my clit pierced!
