Ok, so I have more than one piercing, and my nipples weren't my first or my last, actually the middle. The other ones I have are my nose and my tongue, and I thought that they are pretty standard, so I would write about my nipples.

I have two tattoos but I didn't have the money for anymore tattoos, but wanted other body mods. After I got my nose done, as I walked around campus, I saw that every preppy sorority girl there had one. I wanted something different. Something that not everybody has. I also wanted something that could kind of be "my little secret." Nobody knows that you have nipple piercings unless you tell them. But so much about that, and on to the experience.
I had been researching nipple piercing here on BME and other sites for quite a while, but really didn't plan on getting them done anytime soon. I woke up one morning, and said, "Today is the day I am going to go get my nipples pierced." So, I got up and got dressed. I have read on here where people say that you should wear button up shirts because it is easier, so I did. Then I went to the bank to get some money and I was off to Kaleidoscope. I got my nose done there, and I really liked the place. It seemed really clean, sterile, and the people there were really nice.
Qui Qui is the one that did my nose and I really liked him because he made me feel really calm and comfortable. I knew that I wanted him to do my nipples, because I am not one of those people who is really comfortable about just pulling my shirt up in front of anyone, and I knew that I would be comfortable with him. So, I went up to the counter and told him what I wanted. Simultaneously, moving my hands over my breasts. He laughed and asked for my ID, I filled out the paperwork, and paid him.
I had to wait a little while because there were some people in front of me. I figured that I would be really nervous. I mean I am going to get needles shoved through both of my nipples, but I was actually really wasn't. It was funny because I flipped out about my nose, one that I knew didn't hurt that bad, because one of my friends had it and said it was cake.
So, it was my turn to go. First, he asked me if I wanted them pierced with barbells or CBR's. I wanted the barbells. He went over the aftercare instructions with me, and asked if I had any questions. I said no so we got ready to do the piercing. Then he asked me to take off my shirt, and he held some thingy up to my nipples to decide how long the barbell should be. After that, he marked where he was going to pierce them. He had me get up and make sure that I liked the placement, and I did so it was time. He had me lay down and I joked that I felt like I should be at the gyno's office lying down half naked like I was. He laughed and said that he would put the stirrups out for that. Then he got out the clamps and clamped my nipple. I was really scared of those, because everyone talks about how they are the worst part, but I didn't think they were so bad.
He told me to take a couple of deep breaths and then he would pierce them. He pierced the first one and I said, "Oh, my god. I thought that would have hurt so much more than it did." He laughed and said everybody thinks that piercings will hurt more than they actually do. He said that he was almost done; that he was just putting the jewelry in now. I didn't even hardly feel him doing that. He screwed on the ball and said he was done with that one. He talked me through everything that he was doing and it really helped keep me calm. Then it was time for the second one. He got it ready and again told me to take a couple of deep breaths and he pierced it. It hurt more than the first one, but still wasn't that bad. Definitely bearable. I mean I didn't scream or cry or anything. It just made me flinch my legs. He put the jewelry in, and screwed in the ball just like on the first. I got up and looked in the mirror and they looked perfect. I put my shirt back on.
He went over the aftercare instructions again, and gave me a written set and a bottle of solution to clean them with. They were perfect, they never got infected or anything.
I would highly recommend Qui Qui to anyone who is in the Springfield area. I have had him do all of my piercings, and I am getting ready to go back and get another one next week. Happy piercing.
