On Friday, 28 July, I finally got the nerve to get my nipple pierced. I've been wanting to do it for several months now, but kept postponing. My friends were always asking: "So, did you get it yet?" They thought I was mad. But in the same sentence they would say that they can't wait to see it. There were some people who thought it would be pretty hot. My boyfriend was one of them. But I kept making excuses, so he said that I'd probably never do it. For a while I thought so myself. But Friday was D-Day. I decided its now or never!

We sat there for about 20 minutes, anticipating. When it was our turn, the lady behind the counter wanted to know what we wanted. So, in our lowest voice, we said we wanted our nipples pierced. There were other people in the shop as well, and we didn't want them to know. But the lady didn't realize that, and she just carried on talking about the precautions. She gave us two options. She either freezes it or we go to the doctor across the road. We chose the doctor. After 10 min we were back. Now the nerves were settling down a bit. We filled in our release forms, and the lady took us into a booth.
I was first. I sat down on the bed, and Jane instructed me to take off my top. When she clamped my nipple, it still hurt. We waited another 5 min, and then she clamped it again. I could still feel it. So she decided to freeze it. She clamped it one final time. By now I was so worked up, I just told her to get it over with. When she pierced it, it felt like she was piercing it through 4 layers of flesh. It hurt like hell! My friend almost passed out. When i looked down, I just saw blood!
Next it was Chris's turn. He was just sitting there on the bed, his shirt off, and he just decided he didn't want it anymore! Jane had his nipple in the clamp, the needle in her hand, ready to go. But he was hesitant. She kept asking him if he wanted to proceed, and he kept saying no, so she just did it! Totally unexpected! He almost fainted again! And then it was over!
We were so proud of ourselves for actually getting it. We showed everybody!
It's been going good now for 5 days so far. My nipple was a bit bruised, but thats okay. It doesn't hurt at all. It's been a bit bloody, but that's obvious.I tried cleaning it as much as possible. Don't want it to get infected. Sleeping hasn't been a problem either. I can only fall asleep on my stomach, so I thought that would be a problem, but luckily I can't even feel it when I'm lying down. It's a bit sensitive when I touch it, or when something rubs against it, like cotton or wool. My boyfriend was so impressed, of course. He just wants to look at it and touch it. But that is totally out of the question at this point in time. When he heard it would only be healed in 3 months' time, he wasn't very happy, but he'll just have to get over it! He'll enjoy it for a lot longer than 3 months!
So, last night, I hooked up with some friends whom I haven't seen for some time! They were so grossed out by my piercing! We started talking, and I told them one of my greatest fears will be when one of my bangles get hooked onto my bar and rips it out! I've always been extra careful in the shower, and when i get dressed, etc.
This morning I woke up, a bit hung over from partying last night. I stepped into the shower. Next moment I feel this terrible pain going through my body. I looked down, and my worst fear came true: my bar was ripped right back through my nipple! It was bleeding constantly! I thought I was going to faint! So, now my bar is halfway inside my nipple. Pretty disgusting, I know!
Luckily my mother hasn't walked in on me in the shower, coz if she sees it, then I'll have more to worry about than a silly bar stuck in my nipple!
But in a few hours' time, I'm gonna go back to Jane, so she can fix it, and make it look super sexy again!
