I am no stranger to piercings, and I love to get pierced. But my nipples were just something I have been really skeptical about. I have been pondering whether or not to get my nipples pierced for some time now. The thought of it pretty much scared me because of all of the stories where I have heard about people who have cried, or getting them done has brought tears to their eyes. Well, I guess I was one of the lucky ones...

I decided to go ahead and get my nipples pierced. I have been talking it it over with my friends and other people, you know to get peoples opinions and to see how they'd react to such a thing. There actually are a few people who really wanted me to get them done, so that helped me along some. Plus, one very important and special lady in my life told me many times that she thought guys with pierced nipples were just that much more hot, so that too helped out a whole, whole lot.
I was really nervous that day, as I figured I would be. I kept picturing myself moving as the needle went in, or them piercer have problems getting the needle through. So, I sucked it up and went with it.
I made an appointment so I wouldn't have the chance of chickening out, which later I found out was a very good idea not to chicken out. I arrived there with my mom and filled out all the paper work, she signed for it and then I had to set there for about half an hour while the place was getting ready for the daily business. I was the first customer of the day and I ended up having to wait a while, that pretty much sucked. It built up the anticipation, and I had more bad thoughts run through my mind. When the place was ready, I walked over to the chic who was going to pierce me. I believe she was an apprentice, or just a beginner, either way it did not help my nerves very much at what so ever. She got all the necessary things together and was prepping for the piercing. We went with 14 gauge straight barbells, I figured they would heal easier and not cause as many problems as a captive ball ring would. Then she was getting ready to tell me the typical rundown of the piercing procedure, but I knew it so we skipped that part. At the time I was prepping myself too, although I was mentally preparing myself for the worst pain of my life. And to all those who say the clamp hurts the worst, I believe you now. That hurt so bad, and I think the smaller the nipple is the worse the clamp feels, and unfortunately I have small nipples. She pierced my left one with relative ease, and I had a very enjoyable pain. My right one was the bad nipple. I was expecting the same feeling that I got from the left nipple, but oh no. She had trouble getting the needle through. It took a few seconds, and a little more pain, but it was okay. Also, the jewelry hurt a little to be put in, and I was light headed when I stood up. But I was lucky enough to get a very nice young lady who talked to me during the piercing and drew my attention away from some of what was going on. The only problem with the talking was that I opened my eyes during the piercing and I saw the needle in my poor little nipple and that was weird. I don't like to see needles "\Ãw€ë through me, it kind of bothers me a little.
All in all, this was my second favorite piercing I've gotten done, my first was my lip, and I've received a tremendous amount of positive feedback from having my nipple pierced. I was surprised at how many people really like nipple piercings. I did not cry, I have not had any troubles with them, they have been pretty much all good. If any one is even considering thinking about getting their nipples pierced, I very much so highly suggest you to go and get them pierced. I, personally, loved it, and I found a reason to have nipples. There really isn't, and hasn't been, one bad thing about having them pierced, except I forget that they are there sometimes and I end up hurting them. Do yourself a favor, if you like piercings and don't mind some pain, go get your nipples pierced if you are at able to, you'll love yours too.
