It all started while having coffee with a friend of mine. We were talking about piercings, he had many, and I was still very much a virgin to piercings. I had a lot of respect for them but had never got around to actually getting one myself. After telling me about all the perks of getting your nipples pierced I knew I had to get mine done. We called some of the piercers in the phone book and got prices and we asked a lot of questions but since I still hadn't decided I started asking around to my friends and had a lot of them say good things about Soul Survivors. A couple of days later I called and made an appointment. The excitement had started to set in but it still felt unreal I was actually going to get them done.

I was so nervous going into it and when my appointment date came around I had got myself extremely pumped up about the piercing but had to wait two weeks as I had come down with the flu and my immune system was low. I didn't want to take any chances with getting an infection so I made the hard choice and waited it out.

Finally the day had come; I wore a big, baggy, white T-shirt and headed on my way. I had debated whether to bring someone with me but felt this was something I was doing for myself. When I got there I was extremely relieved, everyone there was so friendly, it really put my nerves at ease. I sat down on the couches and grabbed a magazine and waited. The environment there was so relaxing and they had so many things to look at. It wasn't that busy and soon Jay came out and invited me in. I was getting nervous again by this point, but Jay was so friendly and extremely bubbly I was quickly drawn into our conversation I had forgotten why I was there! He went over a few things with me and after I reluctantly removed my shirt...I'll admit I am pretty shy but I knew it was going to be worth it. He marked the spots he was going to pierce through and asked if I liked where they were and I agreed they looked good. He kept me busy through out the whole process going over everything so, surprisingly, I was very calm at this point. Once I got in the chair I took a deep breath and he put the clamp on and then I don't remember much as I just closed my eyes and kept breathing. Within a minute or two I felt a prick and when I opened my eyes he was sliding the ring through. I can not even put words to the feelings I felt while watching him do this, it was absolutely amazing! I told him how easy that was, although I had heard the second one usually hurt more. He gave me a minute and then started on the next one. I took a deep breath again and within a minute the next one was done. I can honestly say the second one did hurt more but it wasn't anything unbearable. There wasn't as much blood as I thought there would be with a piercing. He cleaned me up and I took a peek in the mirror and fell in love with them.

While getting dressed, I put my bra in my purse as they were a little too tender to wear that home and picked up my information and cleaning sheets and went to pay. The adrenaline rush was amazing! On the walk home I could feel a burning sensation but couldn't wait to get home to look in the mirror again.

With in the first week they were a little tender and had a little swelling but I followed the cleaning instructions and by the end of that week they looked amazing. I couldn't wait to put bars in them but knew I was going to have to wait until they were nice and healed. I spent a lot of time in the mirror admiring them and showing my close friends.

It's been over a year now and I honestly wouldn't take them out for any reason. I have very nice bars in them and I feel so empowered when I see them. Since then I have had many more piercings and it's true, they are addictive! I would recommend these to anyone who wants to get them done. I had very little feeling in my nipples before I got them pierced and now even the softest touch can send tingles through out my whole body. The pain was nothing compared to some other piercings I've had. Go for it you won't regret it!
