I have thought for many years about a piercing, mainly it has to be said a belly button piercing.

I did have reservations about having my button done though, my sister had her's done a few years ago and it had taken a very very long time to heal. Also I have a pretty good tummy specially as I have been through a pregnancy and I wasn't sure I wanted to spoil the the look of it with metal and also a scar if I took it out at anytime.
I wanted a piercing, not on show, I think a facial piercing looks great on younger people but I'm 37 and I just don't think it would suit me now. I wanted it to be mine and my lovers secret, I was too nervous and unsure about having a piercing in my genitalia, and my man wasn't too keen on me having one down there, so I decided a nipple was the way to go. I thought about having both done but I decided I would have the right one done first and then make a choice later as top whether I would have the other done.
I had called in at Bodz a few months earlier and picked up a leaflet and spoken to Shirley, who was lovely, didn't put any pressure on but answered all my questions patiently. It is an usual to find a piercing studio in a city department store but I suppose that is partly what drew me to there, rather than the other studios I visited which were in rundown parts of town in semi derelict buildings. Everything was spotless and the literature that they give you answers any questions you might have. It is a very professional set up and one that I felt really happy with.
I pretty much woke up on the morning of having it done and though, yeh, today is the day and off I went to Liverpool to get it done. I had a sandwich before I went in as they recommend eating before you have a piercing, and also having a non diet can of coke, I imagine the sugar boost helps stop any fainting. Not that I was worried about that, I have a pretty reasonable pain tolerance.
Both Shirley and Carl her husband are very friendly and absolutely put me at ease, they explained the procedure, helped me choose my jewellery (they use PMFK for most new piercing), I went for plain silver ball ends. They explained the benefits of the PMFK and how it can help healing be a little quicker. Carl marked me up with gentian violet, Shirley looked and agreed it was level and straight and then I was ready. I lay back on the couch feeling very relaxed considering I was sitting with my tits out in front of two strangers and I was about to have a needle put through my right nipple
Carl talked me through the breathing technique he recommends and asked me to have a practise run through it, as we went through the practise he did the piercing and it was fine, a slight pain but lots less than I expected. It made me laugh especially when one of the ends dropped down the front of my trousers and I had to dig around to find it. In fact the experience gave me quite a high.
I was talked through the cleaning procedure and sent on my way with a lolly for being brave :-). About an hour later it was pretty sore so I took a couple of painkillers and then it was fine. I had a little bit of bleeding into the dressing a couple of days later but it was time for the dressing to come off, I cleaned it up gently in the shower and have had no pain since. I have only once used a salty water to rinse it and that was the day the dressing came off. Other than that I just clean it in the shower with clean running water. I still get a little crusting from time to time, usually after a play session with my lover, but it is never sore.
It is much more sensitive than before, I have breast fed so my nipples aren't as sensitive as they were but this has really increased my fun. I only have small tits so my man appreciates my piercing it gives him something else to play with and he says he loves sucking on it. I am really glad I didn't have both done, not that was seriously considering it anyway but I love the contrast between the pierced one and the non pierced one.
Carl changed the ends for me to something a little sparkly for Xmas and both him and Shirley are the nicest people you could meet. I may get him to change my bar for a ring at some point just for a change but I am more than happy with the bar.
It is the best feeling playing with it and even better having someone else playing, it has really increased the sensitivity of my nipple.
I absolutely love it, it is my naughty little secret and I have no regrets at all about having it done, except maybe I should have done it years ago!!!
