So my whole nipple experience started about a month ago. I had been thinking about nipple piercing for quite a while, and decided to just go for `it. But first I had to do was to convince my mom to sign for the whole thing (because I'm not quite 18 yet). She's quite stubborn when it comes to accepting any types of body mods. I have quite a few other piercings *on my face/ears etc* which, to say the least, she is NOT very fond of. Any-who, while asking her about all this, I got the whole interrogation of "why would you wanna do THAT? What's the point if nobody's' going to see them?? ARE people going to see? Your going to let some stranger see your naked boobs?!?" and so on and so forth. *sigh* BUT eventually, she gave in *THE HARDEST PART IS OVER!* :D Well, just for convincing MY mom, I should get a bloody trophy!

I was a little apprehensive about what to expect because I had heard from some people that it nipple piercing hurts like a bitch, and I had heard from other people that it's a barely noticeable little pinch. Sure I was a little scared, but it was more of that "wholey hell, I'm excited!!" feeling. So I went Downtown, met my mom, and we were off.
When we got to the studio, I told the girl at the front what I was there for, and she told me to just sit for a sec till the piercer came out. Now, in my opinion, sitting in the waiting room is just hell since, you know what your there for, and your so damn excited that you just wanna go do it! Not sit and wait letting your nerves get the best of you!
So after not long, Jake came out and seemed stoked after hearing what I was there for. The paperwork was done, so my mom left, and we went into the piercing room.
While Jake was getting some things set up, he asked me to take off my shirt and bra (which was at first, very awkward, but wasn't too bad considering Jake is very sociable, and professional). We talked about gauges/sizes or jewelry and it was settled: 2, 12 gauge CBRs.
So, I was just standing there, looking around the room while Jake cleaned and marked my nipples. The Pen marking on my hard nipples was kind of ticklish! teehee
After all the cleaning and marking was done, I looked at the placement in the mirror, and agreed with the marks. I layed down on the doctor bed, and asked him not to tell me exactly when he was going to pierce. ( I like the surprised!) ;) He did the left one first. He clamped it, wiggled the clamp around and lined up the needle. Then he pierced. Wow, the pain was actually bearable! I think I might have made a squinty face, but it actually felt GOOD! Of course, like every piercing, the inserting of the jewelry is most uncomfortable, but once again, not totally terrible. Then the second nipple, (same process as the first) but this one hurt a little bit more than the first, probably because I knew exactly what to expect. But still, the overall pain was more of an "oooh!" pain, rather than an "OUCH!" pain. ;)
SO it was all over, I was soo happy with how it looked. I just wanted to stand topless in front of that mirror forever. Jake went over the aftercare and I was on my way. The drive home was a little uncomfortable because on every little bump, my poor little nipples felt it! The only problem I've had so far is initially after the piercing, when I put my bra back on, I flipped the right nipple ring upside-down without noticing and when I got home, I saw that it was bleeding quite a bit. But after a nice bath it calmed down. For the first few days I had to wear a bra almost all the time just because when my nipples were rubbing loose against a shirt or something it was a little sore. I cleaned 2 or 3 times a day with Antibacterial soap which worked really well. They're healing really good and make my nipples that much more sensitive. It's great! If I had to take them out (for whatever reason) I would go get them re-done in a second, the experience was so great.
So thanks to Jake for being so darn good at what he does, and if your thinking about getting those nips pierced, just go for it! You'll probably end up liking the pain. ;)
