So I am 16 years old [only] and I have 10 piercings. Seven on my ears, my tongue and my belly button. I pierced my cartilage twice, then came three holes, and I was already born with two on my ears. Had my belly button pierced at 14, then snuck out and had my tongue at 15, and I JUST [About 4 hours ago] got my right nipple pierced. When you here the phrase "piercings are addictive" yes, it is true!

It all started out as a joke, with my best friend Jessica. We've talked about it since the 7th grade about waiting to be 18 to go get our nips done. Recently, she brought it up and told me that she'd be getting them done in the summer. Back then, I had already promised her that I would get mine done with her. So I started getting ready and doing research and looking at pictures of it at BME of course! ;]

And I started saving up my money too. I originally wanted to just get one, because I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to breast-feed later on in life, but I found out that it is not true.

Today, [Feb 20] I stayed home usually with my brother and I thought about it earlier in the week that I would get it done. I called up my friend Jessica to see if she wanted to go, but she never picked up =\ So then I called my friend Mimi and her and her boyfriend picked me and my brother up to head up to Gothic's. [ I've gotten all of my piercings there] Before hand, I tried numbing my nipple with ice for about an hour and a half.

We got into Gothic's, filled up the paperwork, and the piercer told me to go in the bathroom and take of my top and put on the robe. Then I came out and he made me stand STRAIGHT and I'm sorry but I was blabbering away.I don't think I've ever been as scared as getting this done, because SO MANY PEOPLE tell me that it's going to hurt a lot and that your nipples are sensitive so it will be painful. I stood there with my knees shaking. He marked me, and laid me down and I was still shaking and told me what to do. Mimi was holding my hand. Now I read online that the clamp is the most uncomfortable part, and yes it is. For a second there I thought that I already got my piercing done because of the clamp. [First of all, I should mention that before I got this, I would always be pinching my nipple to see how bad it felt, and it did hurt! But getting it pierced hurt way less to me. Ok on with the story]Then I felt it poke through the left side. And that was when it hurt. I'm not goi ng to lie, yes it hurt! But not as much as my tongue. Numbing my tit didn't even help, the piercer said. But you know what helped? Holding someones hand, and breathing OUT while you are being pierced. I also thought that by talking to the people who posted their expierence on BME also helped. [THANKS MIKI!]I always go to Gothic's to get my piercing done, and wouldn't be comfortable anywhere else. Make sure you are comfortable in your surroundings, or else you won't be comfortable with some stranger looking at your tit. I also suggest you get a ring, because it is heard to heal better than a bar.

Ok after the piercing, it started to hurt and throb. It felt like it was on fire...Right now, I'm ok, it doesn't hurt as much. I am told that I need to mix in a tablespoon of sea salt with warm water and put it in a dixie cup and cover my breast with it twice a day and scrub the crusties too. I also heard that if you are pierced with a ring, it will heal faster if it is brought to the top. That the ball is on top. I want to do that, but everytime I touch my breast it hurts =\ I just can't wait to change it and to get my left one done in March!!

If anyone has any questions, I would be more than happy to answer and try to help you. Because I found that if I asked for help, I knew more about what I was getting myself into.

Right now, I'm wondering about how to sleep tonight. I am keeping my band-aid type thing there just to cover it and so it won't rub on my clothes or anything.

Peace ya'll

[I'll be posting my picture up soon!]
