I'm a 22 year old college senior, and have loved piercings from afar for quite some time. I really love nipples done on women and decided I would do it. But, it just never happened, I thought about it for a solid couple years before I finally did it. I looked on BME pictures and realized I just had to get something done.

It is something I have wanted to do for quite some time but never had the money or drive to do so. But I lost some weight, and thought this would be a good way to show off a bit. I found thirty bucks at a bar so that was over half of it. Boom me and a buddy began scanning the area for a tat/piercing shop.
We decided on a place called sacred art in Cortland. He was gonna get his tongue pierced. We spent a good deal of time looking at the porn and glass pieces that littered half the store then began speaking with the piercer and picked out our jewelry. Tom went in first, and got a 12 gauge tongue piercings. It took about five minutes before his tongue was really swelled up and couldn't really talk. I thought this was highly amusing but realized that it was now my turn. I made a couple mistakes when I went in. I knew nothing about gauges, I knew what they were but I didn't know what size was good for a nipple. So I got some bad advise from the piercer and wound up with a 16 gauge. (Stretched to 12 now). So I decided on some traditional CBR jewelry and entered the booth area. He had me take off my shirt and cleaned the are etc. He showed me the new sterile needle being opened etc and asked if I had any other piercings, and I said no. He said no one had ever had a first piercing be a nipple in his shop and that I had balls to do it. He told me how he got his done when he was 15 at the beach and still has them today. This all soothed me quite a bet, helped me relax, as he was a real decent guy.
Finally the moment of truth came. He had me breath in and the needle went in, it hurt, I cant say it didn't, but it wasn't half as bad as I had assumed it would be. it was basically just uncomfortable. The worst part was putting the CBR in once the needle was through. I looked down as he bent the thing around the bead etc, and I saw how interesting my left nipple looked.
I got my second piece of bad advise as I was told to just use some dial antibacterial soap. I HIGHLY recommend some sea salt soaks, they helped a lot. I just held a shot glass filled with the solution over my nipple and it was just fantastic. the problems were sleeping and wanting to work out. I couldn't run or jog even as my nipple would jiggle a little and it would hurt. O how I wished for a BRO from seinfeld.
We walked home and admired our new piercings and of course showed them off. I had a lot of people appalled by it, and a lot of ladies really liked it. The problem I encountered, was that the piercing was too deep into my areole, and not enough in the nipple. As a result the piercing stuck straight out all the time and quickly migrated out. I went back to the place where I had it done and they apologized, and redid it after 3 weeks of healing after removal and I am now quite happy with my piercing.
It has been approximately six months since I got my nipple done and nowadays I love it. Once I realized the problems I had with the piercing, I had it redone, and just had a barbell put in. I love it so much more this way. It doesn't get caught on anything and I can lie on it etc. When I had the cbr I musta ripped it ten times in three months and quickly had the piercing migrating out of my nipple.
I would like to close with a few pieces of advise. Research not only the piercing place, but the piercer him or herself. I made this mistake, and it was a big one. also, don't skimp on price, someone who charges 35 dollars is likely cheeping out on the quality of jewelry, supplies etc. also, if you have smaller nipples, I would recommend barbells, I really like them much more.
